The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

Oh okay I gotcha my bad..I'm on mobile and can't see the location.

I'm originally from Cordova and went to High School in Germantown... my family owned a business in Somerville, and I was in on a duck and deer lease up that way for several years. That's what really piqued my interest.

Can't imagine having known her personally. Thanks to you and others for the info you've provided. Trying real damn hard to stay positive here...

After reading all of Blink's comments/posts.....that's what I began to wonder. I mean, Parsons only has 2500 people......and although its a really nice area (and I'm kind of familiar with it), it isn't exactly "thriving," to my knowledge......

An influential family could just mean locally, for example, a politician (random suggestion)

Right there with you, but the size of the town should limit that number down. Obviously if all that is correct, and there was a billionaire, then that would be who is mentioned. So im curious, from the people around there, are there a lot of families that fit the description or does that pretty much make it known who Blink is calling out

Influential has many definitions. I'm not so sure that what is being said means influential in the monetary sense. I'm thinking more along the lines of physical or even harmful influence.

I think someone on the site even put forth the possibility of influence through local LE or perhaps clergy, etc. Whereas many of us think monetary wealth or political connections in relation to influence, in a small town I can understand where influential might simply mean in a position of authority whether that be the law, the church, school, etc. This is totally speculation on my part from what I read of someone else's comment. However, what did interest me for a second was how quickly TBI was brought into the equation but then the more I thought about it, they were quickly brought into similiar circumstances in my little community when an out-of-the-ordinary crime happened...so I think I'm going to have to rethink that as unusual. I think they are on site very quickly when it's more than just "normal" crime around a small town or county. From what little I have personally observed, our TBI appears to have a good working relationship with most local LE.

Yeah I mean it's not that me and her are just super close..she went to a different high school than me but seeing what it's done to this small community of only 10,000 is absolutely mind blowing. Literally everybody has came together to do whatever they can to help the family/search efforts/volunteering in any capacity. Definitely heart breaking to say the least but still like you, I'm trying to stay as positive as I can hoping we hear some good news soon.

I also thought it was interesting how quickly TBI became involved and that the Governor announced a reward. Is that usually done?

The TBI has to be requested by the DA's office to become involved. Just a fomality really and their involvment is not out of the ordinary in these type investigations. Their resources are a tremendous benefit to smaller departments. On the flip side some departments consider this a slap in the face.

Thought you guys might like this. Amazing amount of traffic viewing that page.

Some one messaged and asked if there is a way to tell how many people have viewed this page since the beginning. They felt it might be of inspiration. I have found that number and am hopeful that Holly's awareness is being spread by the 5,478,879 views of this page for past 2 weeks it has been up. God hears everyone of you!

I hope this isn't where this just falls off the radar. Sad

Agreed - when the Natalie Holloway case just sort of fizzled, everyone knew that Vanwhat'shisnuts was dirty, but no one could pin it to him. I don't know what's worse: knowing, but being unable to do anything, or having no idea about anything.

Praying for her, her family, her friends, and that LE would break this open and find her alive.

Witness: substantial law enforcement-led search underway in Henderson County.

I hope each and every sex offender in a 50 mile radius has been accounted for and thoroughly questioned.

Time is not our friend anymore, unfortunately.

We need to catch this sicko and make an example out of him.

Henderson cty......back to west where freed-hardeman is? Totally opposite direction from previous searches. Interesting. Hope they're onto something big.

With all respect, you're thinking of the town of Henderson which is in Chester County.

From what I understand, the search right now is in both Decatur County and Henderson County. Lexington is in Henderson County as is Scotts Hill which is the place of the high school from which Holly graduated. (Actually, I think parts of Scotts Hill may also be in Decatur County, too.)

Decatur County and Henderson County are neighboring counties.
