The Hunter Biden Thread

MEGHAN MCCAIN: Throw Your Reprobate, Gun-Slinging Son under the bus, Mr. President - or kiss goodbye to the White House

President Joe Biden faces an incredibly difficult choice: save Hunter or his 2024 White House hopes.

It's looking increasingly likely that he can't do both.

And there may be even more shoes ready to drop now that Hunter's shady sweetheart plea with his dad's Justice Department has collapsed.

He may face also charges for tax evasion and illegally lobbying the US government on behalf of foreign interests.

This must feel like a living nightmare in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

As Hunter inches closer to trial and the distinct possibility that he may be convicted and sentenced to serious time behind bars, there are reports that President Biden has voiced fears that he, 'might be dead before his son's case would be resolved.'

And a former aide to Jill Biden even compared the 'weight' of Hunter's legal woes to the 'emotionally taxing' loss of Joe's son Beau over which the President 'probably cries every day.'

But there's something the President can do - he can pardon Hunter.

He can even do it preemptively and put an immediate stop to any criminal proceedings.

Very interesting.

  • It is the first-ever Criminal prosecution of a sitting U.S. President's child
Hunter Biden, 53, was all smiles when departing a Delaware courthouse on Tuesday after pleading not guilty to lying about his continued crack cocaine use when buying a handgun in 2018.

The appearance and guilty plea comes after what Republicans called a 'sweetheart' plea deal - that would have seen Joe Biden's son avoid jail time - collapsed this summer.

The judge also revealed the president's troubled son has submitted to multiple random drug tests, and has been negative each time.

'These charges are the result of political pressure from President Trump and his MAGA allies to force the Justice Department to ignore the law and deviate from its policies in cases like this one,' Lowell said after Hunter left court.

The above form shows Hunter Biden checked 'no' when asked if he is 'an unlawful user of, or addicted to' a controlled substance. But the president's son detailed in his own book that he had a relapse in 2018 – the same year he purchased the firearm

EXCLUSIVE: Hunter Biden withdrew $20,000 from daughter Maisy's college fund and spent it on hookers and drugs after bankers warned he had just 44 cents left in his account

Hunter Biden withdrew his daughter's college savings to help fund a months-long drug and hooker binge – and still hasn't paid the taxes on it, documents unearthed exclusively by DailyMail.com reveal.

The First Son's profligacy was cast in sharp relief in papers from an IRS whistleblower who investigated him for tax crimes, released by Congress last month.

His private bankers at Wells Fargo sent him an email on December 17, 2018 warning that he had just 44 cents left in his account, according to records obtained by DailyMail.com from his abandoned laptop.

Hunter responded with a jumbled reply, ordering them to transfer $20,000 from his daughter Maisy's educational savings account.

He told the wealth managers: 'liquidate what you can' and 'Live [love] you both'.

Fine class of human beings those Biden’s are. Top of the heap!

Biden-Appointed Prosecutor ADMITS He Declined To Prosecute Hunter For Tax Crimes Because He Was 'short-staffed'

A top Biden-appointed prosecutor verified whistleblower claims that he declined to prosecute Hunter Biden for tax crimes, but bizarrely blamed being 'resource-strapped' as the main reason behind his decision.

DailyMail.com reviewed the transcript of a closed-door House Judiciary Committee interview with U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada for the Central District of California.

Estrada's interview comes after IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler testified under oath that Hunter Biden received 'special' treatment in the investigation into his financial dealings.

He is the top prosecutor the whistleblowers alleged tax fraud charges should have been brought against Hunter, but weren't.

When asked about why he did not pursue charges against the president's son, Estrada told congressional investigators that he was short-staffed.

Our two tiered, double standard justice system has become completely political and complete s***. I bet this US Attorney’s Office would be magically fully staffed if one of Trump’s adult children had a case come across their docket.

Report Corroborates that Lawyer Kevin Morris Controls Hunter Biden’s Stake in Chinese Fund

1698723068069.png

Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Kevin Morris, controls his client’s ten percent stake in a Chinese state-backed fund, BHR Partners, Just the News reported Sunday, confirming Breitbart News’ exclusive report in April.

Morris’s control of Hunter Biden’s stake in the ongoing fund — closely linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) — raises concern the Biden business remains engaged in an ongoing partnership during Joe Biden’s presidency. An ongoing Biden business with a CCP-linked entity could compromise Joe Biden’s administration.

Morris’s stake in the fund depicts a relationship with the president’s son that goes beyond one of a typical lawyer, including paying his IRS debts on top of strategizing his legal defense. Hunter Biden racked up at least $10 million in legal bills over the past five years, CNN reported in October, as he will potentially spend millions more defending himself from an impeachment inquiry and three gun charges.

Hunter Biden formed the BHR Partners in 2013 as a joint venture with Devon Archer and Jonathan Li. Hunter Biden created the joint venture in which his company, Skaneateles LLC, held a ten percent equity stake in BHR Partners. Hunter conveyed that stake in Skaneateles to Morris, a source familiar with the agreement dated 2023 confirmed to Breitbart News. Nonprofit Marco Polo first unearthed the agreement.

Hunter Biden Prosecutor David Weiss insists he has 'full authority' over the investigation into President Biden's son ahead of grilling by Republicans in Congress accusing him of politicization

  • The top prosecutor will be questioned behind closed doors Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET
Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss will maintain he has 'full authority' over the Hunter Biden investigation as he is set to answer questions from Republicans who are calling into question his impartiality during the probe into the president's son.

Weiss - the lead investigator into Hunter Biden's gun and tax crimes - will be questioned behind closed doors Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET as House Judiciary Committee Republicans probe allegations of politicization during his investigation into the president's son.

At the conclusion of the investigation into Hunter, Weiss will also prepare a report which Attorney General Merrick Garland is 'committed to making public.'

Weiss was appointed special counsel by Garland in August after IRS whistleblowers alleged that he said he was not the 'deciding' person on whether to bring charges against Hunter.

Article II, Section 4:

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Perhaps, but what is the underlying crime? Did Joe Biden lie under oath about this? I don't believe that having clandestine communication with Hunter's business associates, and lying about it, would necessarily be a criminal offense ... unless, of course, he has done so under oath. If not, then we would need to know more about what the purpose of the activity surrounding this communication involved.

Does taking $40,000 from the Chinese government count?

In case anyone has missed this:

1. Chinese company from the "10% for the big guy email" and the same company that Hunter messaged saying "my dad is here with me" when he was extorting them, sent Hunter 400,000.
2. Hunter sends a portion of that to James and Sarah Biden's account.
3. Sarah Biden cuts Joe Biden a check for exactly 10% of the 400,000.

I haven’t paid much attention. Wasn’t the $40K from like 2017 when he wasn’t in office?
Yes .... and that is a problem for House Republicans that few people on the right are mentioning. Not only had Joe Biden left the office of the Vice President in 2017, he wasn't yet even a candidate for the Presidency. Biden announced his Presidential candidacy in April of 2019.

I'm not saying that any of this is ethical, but what "influence" can Biden be charged with peddling here? He didn't hold public office of any sort in 2017; nor was he even a candidate for public office of any sort .... As a matter of fact, in 2017, Joe Biden's party was completely out of power. Republicans had the Presidency (Trump), and they had control of both chambers of Congress. As of 2017, many political observers believed Joe Biden's political career to be over.

Having said all of that ... I really do hope that Biden drops out of the race soon. He is very unpopular with the Democratic Party base.

It’s rare in the PF, less rare outside, that I agree with you but I do in this case.
