The Impeachment Thread

About 47% say it rises to the level of removal.

Plus, even Alexander said clearly that Trump was guilty as charged.
What does the constitution say is needed for the jury majority to carry?

(Be careful with your snarky answers, as it's you that's constantly accused your foes of disrespecting those "pesky checks and balances". You don't want to be an idiot hypocrite, I'm sure.)

It sounds like if the constitutional quorum of the jury speaks to the subject, it's impossible that the jury has been "nullified". Eh?

This can make you so angry, and get your blood boiling, and makes you want to march to Washington and take her and the rest out by hand. No care in the world for our country, no dignity, no pride. We’ve had enough of the charade. What she was laughing about is the impeachment over all, and laughing at the hoax, and laughing at us voters that sent Trump to the White House.
Either that or she was just high as a kite.

Thanks for agreeing with @Orange_Crush ’s point.

Alexander did not agree that Trump’s actions warranted removal and clearly stated so.
I said that hours ago. Has anyone refuted that point?

He said Trump was guilty as charged but the guilt didn't justify removal from office.
The facts - guilty
The opinion - doesn't justify removal.

That doesn't mean that he knew who he was in 2019. But it doesn't matter anymore anyway. Lying politicians are now acceptable, even applauded depending on whether or not its your guy doing the lying. Our democracy is circling the drain.

Easy, there, big guy. Take two aspirin and call luther's shrink in the morning.

It wasn’t proven, tgey got the ****ing money and no investigation of Creepy Joe or Burisma was initiated. There was no mention of aid on either phone call as well. Wtf don’t you guys get ? Thoughts, intentions, desires are not an impeachable offense!
According to Sen. Lamar Alexander... it was proven. His opinion is more consequential than yours.

And the Ukraine did get the money, but not until well after the September 30th deadline... unlike what Trump and his defense team have been falsely claiming. Congress had to add a provision to a continuing appropriations bill -- which Trump signed into law on September 27th -- allowing those unspent funds to be used in the fiscal year 2020.

There are a LOT of opinions in the senate that are more consequential than all of ours. When the vast majority of Senate opinions announce him innocent of both charges, will you still fall back on that argument?

Opinions become facts if they line up with Luther’s own viewpoint on his continuum
It's just that one of those two opinions is almost universally held and the other is held by 53%.
Makes a tad bit of difference.
Sort of like it is almost a universally held opinion that the Earth is not flat while it's the opinion of 53% that pepperoni is better than sausage as a pizza topping.
