The Impeachment Thread

From what I've seen online Nancy Pelosi will sign off on a subpoena to force John Bolton to go in front of Jerrold Nadler's committee
Should it be open or closed door testimony? I think this question need to be asked beforehand to get you on record of how you think it should be conducted.

Calling someone a "pu$$y" is usually the same connotation as calling them weak or cowardly. What Romney did was completely against his own party and done with no political cover at all. He knows it will cost him his seat in 2024 and he did it anyway. He says that he made this choice based on his own religious convictions. That isn't weakness. It's called showing courage of conviction. It's what more politicians on both sides of the aisle should have.

Romney is going to make another run for POTUS in 2024 or is angling for a VP spot on a Dem ticket. He’s not concerned about his seat in the senate because he’s not going to run for it again.

That's brilliant.
Yes it was a brilliant move by Romney. Now the media will rush to portray him and his son as just targets of the mean-spirited, spiteful, crooked President. Romney no longer has to worry as even the democrats and the media will support him. Shrewd move imo.

The point is, Rush Limbaugh didn't think that AIDS research should be funded, because it was a terminal illness and in his mind, it wouldn't save any lives because AIDS is a virus and you can't cure a virus... so that meant nothing should ever be done. He totally missed that within 5 years it would be possible to counter the symptoms of AIDS to the point where a person could live with it to the point of their normal life expectancy. People like Rush Limbaugh are against science and discovery to a detrimental extent.
That’s not what he said. He said it’s stupid to pretend that AIDS research wasn’t well funded because it was but libs at the time claimed no one was doing anything for AidS
