I don't think that will play at all. It's just an interesting but not relevant anecdote. The whistle blower statute is pretty clear about it.I want to know who changed the whistleblower form to remove the statement that it is first hand information. Once that comes out then the poop will hit the fan, because I'm pretty certain that the democrats are behind it. This is all going to implode right back in Pelosi's face and you can already see it because she started out her sham press conference with pucker lips talking about drug prices.
That is exactly why the ICIG office exists and is the first point of contact. The whistleblower went around that.
@hog88 already said it. Protection applies as you follow the process.IDC. It only matters to me if the whistleblower is truthful and others verify it. If you guys want to chase this story down a rabbit hole be my guest. If the members of the House Intelligence Committee did something wrong that's a separate issue and they will have their day in court too.
I would like to know why the reported complaint was transferred to the new form instead of reported as submitted on the original form. Might be purely anecdotal information... but why do it?I don't think that will play at all. It's just an interesting but not relevant anecdote. The whistle blower statute is pretty clear about it.

“Agree with my subjective speculation or you’re a mouth breather?” You can do better than that.
Not really, at this point. The students who couldn’t have drafted that complaint with the relevant information and time to do the research were in the minority by the start of my third year of law school. I’ve worked with some good secretaries and paralegals who could have put that together, too. There are many lawyers who couldn’t have done it, but I don’t know anything about this guy that makes me think he’s a moron.
I do think it’s interesting that this theory is based on the presumption of an anonymous person’s inadequacy.
I have no illusions that they’ve “got him this time.” During the Mueller probe I realized that there is no objective criteria for his removal and that there are too many people who have reached the point of just not having a threshold.
I don’t think think there’s anything Trump could do, short of some Ashton Kutcher style reveal where he says he’s still a Democrat and you all got punk’d, that would make some of you support his removal from office.
If he gets removed, it will be because Biden tanks and McConnel sees a lane open up for a more stable, conservative candidate to fill his lane. Not going to happen.
Well, they did believe Blasey Ford's hippocampus.I'm not sure how much speculation there needs to be. Pelosi admitted to seeing the complaint in advance. Schiff knew about it in advance.
You can't tell me one or the other didn't send someone to "help" with that complaint. Again, it was too well formatted to be your normal, run of the mill fraud, waste and abuse complaint.
Combine that with the rule changes about second and third hand information right before this complaint went out.
Add in the fact it was on a code word clearance server and was classified (as I'd expect communications between world leaders to be and should be)
What else don't we know yet?
If this, again, doesn't start to stink to you, I really don't know what would. If this was your case and this kind of evidence was possibly tainted in this fashion, you'd blow a gasket.
