Trump says Schiff 'helped write' whistleblower complaint, after House panel admits advance knowledge

A spokesman for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., acknowledged Wednesday that the whistleblower alleging misconduct in the White House had reached out to Schiff's panel before filing a complaint -- prompting President Trump, in an extraordinary afternoon press conference at the White House, to accuse Schiff of helping write the document.

So ai ask. How in the hell did we ever accomplish anything to this point? I’d love to hear JGK talking to world leaders during the bay of pigs or Reagan during the cold war. This country is doomed. I almost want Biden or Warren to be elected to see it happen to them...

I posted it the way I did to get a reaction from you. Did it work?

Maybe you missed the disclaimer buried sooo deep inside my post.

My point being: no matter how many built in assurances/protections to encourage whistle blowers to blow their whistles, there still will be blow back. Whistle blowers know this, or they should and so should you. They either have to be courageous to risk it or they have some other motivation.

I guess we will eventually see which it is, won't we?

When we get serious about corruption, all levels and types, and begin to offer 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 million dollar tax free rewards that put elected officials who deserve it in jail, and all the other puds who go along with, or cover up, or turn a blind eye to, it will be much easier being a whistle blower.

Put forth resolution and make it so. You want to see the biggest pissing their pants group of D.C. scum within all levels of government begin to take shelter and start preparing for a new righteous day, make it happen. Maybe greater than term limits.

This is the second time in a week that somebody has insisted that their “but Obama” wasn’t meant to excuse Trump’s behavior, but couldn’t explain the intent in any way that fit with the context of the conversation and their point wasn’t really supported by the “but Obama.”

Maybe I should see it as progress and be heartened by it.

You're celebrating Trump's idle speculation? Desperate times I guess.

How darling is this? Cap'n Obtuse buying Trump's account hook line and sinker. Stay obtuse my friend.

They will continue this deep state conspiracy talking point for at least a couple more weeks. Repeat it enough and it magically becomes truth to the Trumpers no matter how many time it's refuted.
So ridiculous.

What would it take to get you to start paying attention to the details of what’s happened?

LMAO!

I can see where you would want to deflect to that. Now let’s talk about the admission from Schitt’s office of Congressional contact prior to the whistleblower filing the complaint.
I want to know who changed the whistleblower form to remove the statement that it is first hand information. Once that comes out then the poop will hit the fan, because I'm pretty certain that the democrats are behind it. This is all going to implode right back in Pelosi's face and you can already see it because she started out her sham press conference with pucker lips talking about drug prices.

I am missing the part where Schiff wrote the complaint. But again, for the eleventy billionth time,

It.
Doesn't.
Matter.

Trump has admitted it. The transcript proves it. There is evidently more to come.

I’m being obtuse girl? Schitt’s office has already confirmed contact prior to the complaint filing!!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha!!!

Did you read the NY Times piece? Here's the factual description the story presents.

The C.I.A. officer approached a House Intelligence Committee aide with his concerns about Mr. Trump only after he had had a colleague first convey them to the C.I.A.’s top lawyer. Concerned about how that initial avenue for airing his allegations through the C.I.A. was unfolding, the officer then approached the House aide. In both cases, the original accusation was vague.
The House staff member, following the committee’s procedures, suggested the officer find a lawyer to advise him and meet with an inspector general, with whom he could file a whistle-blower complaint. The aide shared some of what the officer conveyed to Mr. Schiff. The aide did not share the whistle-blower’s identity with Mr. Schiff, an official said.
“Like other whistle-blowers have done before and since under Republican and Democratic-controlled committees, the whistle-blower contacted the committee for guidance on how to report possible wrongdoing within the jurisdiction of the intelligence community,” said Patrick Boland, a spokesman for Mr. Schiff.

Because the process specifically prohibits that until after passing the the ICIG first followed by an initial determination period! That’s why!

The whistleblower broke the damn law!

Yep, irrelevant at this point because we have the call summary that -- as far as anyone can tell -- accurately describes what went down on the call -- and what went down ain't good for Trump.

Thanks for confirming that the CIA officer broke the law!

All of this shoot the messenger and sully the left is just a distraction of the real crime here. Its a lot of noise but is not the issue.
