The Impeachment Thread

That was Fake News, she never said that - completely debunked. The Trump Base is the most gullible electorate this Country has ever seen. The irony, of course, is that they constantly whine about Fake News yet they get hoodwinked by Fake News all the time. Their minds are clay, molded by conspiracy theories perpetrated by the talking heads from the loony, right wing echo chamber.

It's not a coup, The impeachment inquiry is because our idiot POTUS sold out the Country and our Democracy - plain and simple.

LMFAO, please post more.

I’d wager that they weren’t counting on the vote of the guy who said Pelosi and Schumer should be drawn and quartered, simply because he made posts for like a month claiming to be an undecided moderate. Just a guess though. They might be really disappointed.

I love that the dishonesty was the cardinal sin that finally drove you back to Trump. 😂😂

Much more than dishonesty. The list is long.

Drive me back to Trump........when did I start with Trump.......... please tell me.......

I feel that way already, but none of his opponents nor his predecessor was fit for the job either.
Huge difference between disagreeable policies and a fundamental lack of intelligence and stability, not to mention a lack of decency. I truly believe you are smart/aware enough to see his flaws, so let me ask you this:

If Trump loses the election next year, do you think he simply concedes and goes on his way?

None of the candidates running for the Dem nomination are stable or decent, one maybe two barely have enough intelligence for the job and none of them have 1 iota of respect for individual freedom and rights. They are all incredibly dangerous to the freedom and prosperity of the citizenship.

Yes, he will go peacefully.

As far as the bold, I strongly disagree with this. At the very least, he will see what support he can drum up for questioning the validity of the election and the response it would generate among his followers and congressional allies.

I think all the major candidates, save a rapidly deteriorating Biden (and maybe Bernie, I’m not convinced he’s any more knowledgeable than an average college student), are intellectually capable of doing the job. I may not love Warren’s policies, but I think mentally she can handle it. Harris as well, and certainly Buttigieg.

Lmao. You know your post history is saved on here, right? Including your posts from 2016 where you were calling for trump to offer a bounty for dirt on Hillary.

Or the ones where you said Trump had integrity and character.

Or the ones where you got passed off when you couldn’t convince people to vote for Trump and said you were moving to your compound in St. Maarten if she won.

Nevermind the fact that like 3 months ago you were saying that members of the democratic leadership should be dismembered (because that just screams undecided moderate.)

You’re not fooling anybody except the ones that want to be fooled.

He isn’t gonna lose. You idiots got him re-elected. Thanks to your Dim friends.

I don't see it. He'll go peacefully and probably relieved.

Name a person fit to be President...

My opinion here, but in the postwar era we've had two who were fit, via character and experience, on day one of their administration.

Dwight D. Eisenhower.
George H.W. Bush

Richard Nixon and Lyndon Johnson would fit on experience, but not on character.

Nixon resigned to avoid removal and Johnson was smart enough to not seek a second term and avoid the ordeal of impeachment.

We've had many who lacked the requisite experience and it showed in their first 100 days at the very least.

John F. Kennedy
Jimmy Carter
Ronald Reagan
Bill Clinton
George W. Bush
Barack Obama
Donald J. Trump

Of this second group, one of the two with the least character has already been through impeachment. The second, the most corrupt POTUS of the postwar era by far, will obviously be impeached in the House soon as well.

My take away for both parties: if the person you nominate has character like Richard Nixon, but less experience than Obama or Carter, then their presidency is only going to work if they have political talents of a Bill Clinton. Does Trump?

(I'm leaving Ford out since he wasn't elected and was essentially a place holder.)
