Hiding behind closed doors and leaking selective tidbits that skew the story damn sure isn't convincing anyone to turn on Trump. It fits right in with the witch hunt theory. Sunlight makes everything clearer.

Closed door meetings to obtain information are often the right way to go.

Selectively leaking bits and pieces to create a public narrative is a ish move.

You're aware that there are classified things that can't be discussed in public.
This is nothing new and repubs are represented. Hell, it's the rules they themselves created.

Ok then hold the hearings where CI may come out behind closed doors and treat it like a grand jury. Prosecute anyone that leaks anything from the hearing.

Everything else do it in the open.
