Painting a picture of a haughty, entitled bureaucrat who can’t accept that SHE doesn’t make foreign policy. She’s dwelling on “stated policy”.

This attempt to paint the State Dept bureaucracy as beyond question is ridiculous and very telling.

I think she is a patriot. However, she serves at the pleasure of the president. Trump is bombastic and juvenile at times. She got caught up in it. I am sure it wasn't personal, but it is no big deal to anyone but her. She had a great career. Time to move on. I would wager she could write a very interesting book.

So how is it unthinkable that Ukraine would want to say “the stuff he likes” to use Sondland’s words?

I think if “you can’t fight corruption without pissing off some corrupt people” was the potent quotable from Wednesday, her comments about spending years trying to get Ukraine to stop using selective prosecution as a political weapon is it from today.

One thing I really enjoy is watching southern Republicans defend Trump to the death. If you wanna know how he really feels about you guys, just go back and look at how he thought and treated the quintessential southern Republican, Jeff Sessions. When you defend him, you guys make yourself look like sad, just-kicked puppy dogs crawling back to their owner for any crumb of affection.

That you don't recognize or acknowledge the corruption involved with the smear campaign / removal of Yovanavich speaks volumes about your lack of character.

Thankfully, the majority of Americans understand Trump is corrupt. Whether it's through impeachment or election, it'll be a great day for our nation when Trump is chucked out of office.

That has always been one of the great ironies. The people who worship Trump the most are the very people Trump holds in lowest regard. Trump has always hated all things rural, southern, and fly over.
