Yeah and why not throw the Ukrainian stuff against the wall and see if anything will stick, knowing it might hasten the inevitable demise of Biden's candidacy which after all was prophesied months ago here on VN by our own @1972 Grad so what have they got to lose?

If you ever need confirmation of what the Dems are guilty of, just note what they accuse Trump of.

Now... Impeachment inquiry... I didn't know the Dems were so intent on giving up the 2020 Presidential election and emptying themselves from Congress. This will not play well with the voters.

Trump's phone call with Zelensky involved a very clear conflict of interest and an abuse of power. The President of the United States has no business soliciting the leader of a foreign government for assistance with digging up dirt on a political rival of his... or involving the Attorney General either.

There was a "witch hunt" here and Trump was leading it.

Heh... Biden's son was under investigation in Ukraine. Biden bragged about threatening to withhold US financial support unless said prosecutor was fired. It isn't "digging up dirt on a political rival", Sunshine.

But the beautiful thing is that the left and the media are making a huge deal about Trump's supposed threat against Ukraine. All they're doing is setting the moral-outrage-meter against their own Presidential hopeful.

You can't fix stupid.

Democrats really had no choice right now. You have to do the inquiry. If the shoe was on the other foot, you can bet they Republicans would do the same.

1) Biden's son was not under investigation. Mykola Zlochevsky, who founded Burisma holdings, a company that Hunter Biden sat on the board of, was under investigation.

2) The U.K. had sought to have the prosecutor in the case, Viktor Shokin removed. Vitaly Kasko, a deputy prosecutor in the case, has stated that although the U.S., just like the U.K., wanted Shokin fired, they did not pressure anyone to drop the inquiries... just dump Shokin, the corrupt prosecutor.

3) It absolutely was digging up dirt on a political rival. It is either naive or dumb to think that Trump's interest in this, wasn't purely politically motivated. In other words, a witch hunt.

According to the Ukraine President on this mornings news it's a non-issue. No pressure. In his own words "NO."
But hey, it's the democratic way. Don't do your job for the people that stupidly keep electing you there. Just take their tax dollars for your own salary, along with all the other bribes you have taken to become millionaires off $175K per annum, and spend Trumps entire presidency chasing him and ghost stories. He plays them like a fiddle and they are all perfectly tuned. And he is not hurting his re-election bid. It is setting up in concrete daily.
