He has to have the clearance level to have access to networks he’s supporting. But that alone doesn’t grant right to know. I’m gonna guess a lot more heads are going to roll privately on people that didn’t protect info when the IT weenie was around unless the IT weenie purposely took advantage of access to get info he had no need to know.Teixeira was a “cyber transport systems specialist,” essentially an IT specialist responsible for military communications networks, including their cabling and hubs. In that role Teixeira would have had a higher level of security clearance because he would have also been tasked with responsibility for ensuring protection for the networks, a defense official told the Associated Press, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.
The Post adds that that Teixeira had access to the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System, an internal Defense Department hub for top secret information, according a U.S. official.
OK. You believe in full disclosure... lead by example:
What's your actual full name, age, address and occupation?
No I’m laughing at someone who stated they had a very high clearance, which honestly I don’t doubt you did, while at the same time saying some really wrong stuff that contradicts with the clearance. And this isn’t the first time I’ve had this laugh over the yearsNot a flex at all. Just means I’ve seen a decent amount of classified material working in a command post. Most of it could’ve been declassified without harm.
Your entire goal here has been to follow me to the bathroom with a ruler. Pretending I never had a clearance because I couldn’t remember something from 11 years ago, claiming my job must not have contact with nuclear info (hilarious given the nature of the command post), etc.
You’ve basically been trying to tap my foot under the bathroom stall
I agree with you 100%, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Here is another thing I was looking for and just found. So what "we" have now isn't directly attributed to the original leaker. These documents came from a second source that was privy to the leak and only sent some of the information to another party. There very well may be lots more out there somewhere. This is an article about the Chinese hypersonic nuke that was leaked, but it touches on what I just spoke about as well.Shouldn’t be able to.
Which causes me to wonder why we're getting comments that insinuate this was a government orchestrated conspiracy and the alleged leaker was set up.The biggest take away I’ve seen is that the Intel basically contradicts the public statements of the admin as well as made public information of other sovereign states who didn’t want the info public. Basically we look like morons. Again.

I don’t doubt your claim to a clearance, Never did. I’ll accept it at face value even. And I’m totally on board with there is a bunch of stuff that is classified that when you see it stand alone you ask why. Been there many times but our type of info was different. I’d guess yours was mostly opsec whereas mine is design and performance data. But I can assure you that is over used also. The only thing I found highly suspect was the “right to know” claim. That single statement is behind our whole exchange. What did I say that was wrong and “contradicted that clearance”?
You can find posts by me dating back to when I was in Afghanistan on this website and multiple times I’ve stated I was a command post controller. All command post controllers have a ts clearance. I knew plenty a good man who got moved to other career fields due to an inability to obtain one
He’s part of Generation DumbassThat kid is 21 going on 14 and shared all of this stuff w/ video game buddies on his discord . He is “anti-war Christian” . Helluva place for an anti-war person to get a job. On what planet does this kid or anyone that’s a part of any National Guard Unit have that sort of security clearance?
Were you the one we used to poke fun at saying you were just a coffee boy while in Afghanistan? What did I say that was wrong and “contradicted that clearance”?

From your clearance yearly training you’d remember that isn’t up to you to determine.
Another point that gets hammered home yearly on your training.

Nope. Did no such thing. In fact I refereed you to your government mandated yearly training on there being no “right” to anything. I had no reason to believe you didn’t have a clearance because as either you or someone else said they are fairly common even when they are sometimes denied.lol you 100% pretended with those two comments that I was lying to you. Face it, you followed me into the bathroom with a ruler and came up short.
