The Investigation of the Biden Criminal Cabal

According to Grassley, the 1023 is unclassified and he has already seen the unredacted version. As I thought, he wanted to see how the fbi director responded to the request.
He knew how they would respond because they have to follow certain procedures. He was counting on the motivated reasoning of certain people to cause them to overlook motives other than “the FBI is covering something up.”

The reality is that the FBI doesn’t publicly release information that comes from or could identify a confidential human source. That was one of the four categories of redacted material in the Mueller report.

And yet - I really dont believe it will matter in the slightest. Not one will be prosecuted or punished in any way if history has any predictive power.

Its not that liberals don't think that the crimes Biden is accused of are bad, they do - they simply cannot compute that he has committed them, no matter what the evidence you bring. Cognitive dissonance, they really are unable to see what is in front of them, even when the evidence is presented, nobody wants to see it and the media says nothing.

With Trump, his followers see what the Dems are presenting, they just believe that Trump is being charged with a made up crime (or trying to fit Trump's behavior into a crime). In this case, they believe Trump's behavior but dont think it is a crime, while the media says IT IS!

In this case, responding to a subpoena from congress is not publicly releasing the information - agree?

Something has to give or we won't last much longer.

Disagree as to the outcome. Once again: look at how the Mueller report was handled. Members of Congress were not provided unredacted copies to do with as they please, regardless of how they tried to obtain them.

Looks like Grassley already had a copy before the FBI submitted. Maybe he just saw a copy though as it is unclear.
What would be the consequence of a Senator releasing the unreacted to the rest of Congress?

Just seems to me the FBI still has the case open in some perpetuity like a boat that never makes it to port. By being an Open investigation they get to withhold as they please. Even by proxy to DE.

Pretty sure I read on here that he was allowed to see it, not allowed to take a copy. If he was permitted to take a copy, then it’s even more of a non-story. Clearly they’re not simply trying to hide it from the people who are looking into Biden.

I don’t think it would have mattered if it was open or closed since the redacted information could identify a confidential human source. They’re not going to make that public as a matter of policy. It is the same policy that gets Ted Cruz looking like that Chris Pratt meme every time they won’t answer questions about how many informants were present on January 6.

Fortunately, now that Comer and Grassley have announced what the document says, Biden can figure out who it was and release the name so his rabid supporters can kill them off and make the whole thing go away.

It should be released to Congress if they ask for it

The audio tapes are of the CEO of Burisma not the whistleblower, so he is already known. Nobody but the executive would necessarily know who the whistleblower is.

No and yes. Theoretically releasing to congress isn't releasing to the public ... except congress leaks like a sieve, so in reality there is no difference. In DC secrets are power, but conversely you can't prove knowledge without showing at least some of what you got.

So who supposedly has the tapes, the whistleblower or the CEO of burisma?

EXCLUSIVE - I'll make sure those 17 Recordings of Joe and Hunter are Released: Republican Steve Scalise vows to 'press' to make Burisma exec's phone calls public - and says Americans are furious the Bidens have gotten away with 'web of corruption'

  • The Burisma executive who allegedly paid then-Vice President Joe Biden a $5 million bribe has kept 17 audio recordings of phone calls as an 'insurance policy'
Top Republican Steve Scalise is vowing to uncover all information related to the Biden family's 'web of corruption,' including alleged phone recordings linking Joe and Hunter to a $5 million bribe from a Ukranian energy company executive.

Scalise told DailyMail.com Tuesday on the sidelines of practice for the annual Congressional Baseball Game this week that the American people are beginning to see the 'whole Biden family web of corruption' that's been laid out by the House Oversight Committee led by Chairman James Comer, R-Ky.

According to a 'highly credible' whistleblower, an internal FD-1023 memo created in 2020 based off information from a highly-paid FBI informant apparently details the 'arrangement' for an exchange of money for policy decisions. Republicans are pressing the FBI to make the document public to the American people.

In early May, Republicans led by Comer and Grassley released a report digging in on over $10 million received by Biden family members from foreign actors, including previously undisclosed $1 million in Romanian-linked payments, and a 'web' of 20 companies created while President Joe Biden was vice president and pushing anti-corruption efforts abroad.

Liberals are "unable to see what evidence is in front of them." Really? What "evidence" would that be? The same no evidence we saw of election fraud? Please. This is more of the conspiracy nonsense that we saw with Clinton and the fake Benghazi and email "scandals." Right-wingers traffick in conspiracy theories--period. That is how they roll. We're talking about people who spent years spewing laughable QAnon BS--BS that of course a lot of rubes came to believe because....well, rubes. You know what a "confidential source" who reportedly heard things from an unnamed person, who himself supposedly heard things, amounts to? Nothing.
