That's great.
You used a franchise that generates about 5 million a year in revenue per location or the location is closed.
Now see how the small locally owned burger joint down the street that generates 400k a year goes out of business cause it can't compete.
Do you understand margins at all?
I got the vibe my microeconomics teacher was probably a conservative or a Blue Dog Democrat. He was an NC State grad. He would tell us stories about how his father survived the Great Depression without any government assistance. He would give us the pro and cons about the private sector and the federal government. He favored the federal government being the one in charge of public works. My ecomonics 101 teacher was an admitted Commie. True story and nice guy. Some idiot cheated off me on final exam and we were both called in to retake as they were not sure who cheated. I improved my score and he was probably booted.
Corporations That Support The $15 Minimum Wage Can Afford It. Here’s Who Can’t
They hope it will put out small businesses.
1Its interesting how companies have changed to support dems and the dems love corporations now.
Lol holy ****.I'll admit I haven't read hardly any posts in this thread, but here's my center-right, communist (LOL) take: A minimum wage hike is necessary. Certainly there should be exemptions to smaller businesses. I'm confident that companies like McDonald's, WalMart, Lowe's, etc., can absorb the higher wage and still provide an efficient, affordable product. It's imperative the smaller, "mom pop's", are free of the hike. My 0.02 worth
