Why no. No she doesn’t. But I really want to be a fly in the wall when she pitches the global burger joint government mandated pay model to McDonalds, Wendy’s, and Burger King and says hey In-N-Out does it get with the program losers! She should even show the Barry socialism wealth redistribution video clip she dropped here! That's great.
You used a franchise that generates about 5 million a year in revenue per location or the location is closed.
Now see how the small locally owned burger joint down the street that generates 400k a year goes out of business cause it can't compete.
Do you understand margins at all?
Congrats on figuring out the In-N-Out model. Their revenue per store is mind boggling and their stores seem packed with employees when you’re there but the revenue per employee is amazing. And they hump it those kids earn their money.Give it time.
If minimum wage is dictated past what the market will bear for low skilled wages, look for automation and or less people doing way more work.
The $15++ minimum wage will be terrible for businesses that rely on low skilled workers that already have thin margins.
They are good but they aren’t worthy of the cult following they get. And a lot of people really hate their fries. It’s all driven by the unpublished menu. You won’t see my “double double animal style, add chopped chili’s, and fries well done” on the walk up menu.Never been in one, I hear their burgers are good.
A thoughtful post free of jabs and mocking.Give it time.

They have burgers, fries, soft drinks, and shakes. That’s it. It’s a highly tuned business model and their employees work pretty damn hard.
Oh I do too. I get the burger animal style not the fries. It’s different. I get my frys well done so they’re more like the flash fried ones at other chains but they are still fresh. In N Out makes their frys fresh from in house peeled potatoes. They have a specific potatoe peeling machine designed just for them I believe. Again a highly tuned model.I like the 3x3. I tried the animals fries once but I usually prefer plain fries.

It is a result of the primary system.I agree. In it's current form absolutely. That's why I think they will try something like that eventually. Business is free react to new govt laws. They have tax experts that help them neuter any attempt the govt makes to take their money.
I'm not saying it's inevitable, but the more extreme the Democrats become you get more extreme weirdos in govt.
So why penalize the big chains for being successful? This approach is the government literally interfering on a company’s margins based on gross revenue? And on McDonalds you have corporate stores and individually owned franchises.I'll admit I haven't read hardly any posts in this thread, but here's my center-right, communist (LOL) take: A minimum wage hike is necessary. Certainly there should be exemptions to smaller businesses. I'm confident that companies like McDonald's, WalMart, Lowe's, etc., can absorb the higher wage and still provide an efficient, affordable product. It's imperative the smaller, "mom pop's", are free of the hike. My 0.02 worth
