the main similarities is he would have been just as spendy as Biden.

OTOH our energy policy would have remained stable

CNN wouldn't have had to lay off so many people.

have you read this thread? BB85 has told us repeatedly that Trump begged one of his "minions" to use the justice system and the bad minion didn't do it.

It should be easy to show the examples of Trump using the Justice system to punish political opponents...

We do have examples though of the Clinton/Obama administration using it against Trump (Russiagate) but I guess that doesn't count because Orangeman bad.

It's amusing how all the prosecutions against Trump are justified and there is a distinct paucity of prosecutions carried out by him but he's the threat.

Once again, the fact that his Attorney General didn't go along with it, does not make Donald Trump's intentions okay.

Donald Trump was all in favor of a politically-motivated prosecution of an upcoming election opponent - when he would have been the beneficiary of the prosecution.

Some of Donald Trump’s strongest conservative supporters are voicing anger and disappointment at the president-elect’s comments on Tuesday that he might back off his campaign pledge of pursuing a prosecution of former rival Hillary Clinton.

Conservatives who had revelled in the possibility of a Clinton prosecution were not pleased.

Breitbart News, the outlet once led by Trump’s chief strategist, Steve Bannon, published a story on Tuesday under the headline, “Broken Promise: Trump ‘Doesn’t Wish to Pursue’ Clinton email charges.”

I stated very clearly that Trump only used it as a threat and a way to inflame his base.
He was lying and he knew he was lying. And he knew much of his base was to dumb to hold him accountable.
The last thing Trump ever wanted to do was prosecute a political adversary because he knew he was more guilty than all of them combined.
He played the fools for fools. It worked, until it finally and gloriously bit him in the a$$.
