I 100% think Romney's comment was well said. He stated his position perfectly. He did not insult anyone. He did not demonize the left. He did not glorify Trump. He communicated in the way that should be the norm, not the exception.
I never said I fully agreed with him. That's the thing, you can respect what a person says and the way they said it without agreeing with them. Likewise, you can agree with what a person is saying while hating the way they went about saying it.
Trump drug the level of acceptable debate into the gutter. It's been horribly damaging to national discourse.
