The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

You assume that Trump would view what was said as damning. He's in such an alternative universe mindset, constantly changing his story and revising his argument that I'm not sure he is capable of viewing it rationally.
He gaslights and he doesn't think his base will ever abandon him ... He would have to be an idiot to think that recording exonerates him.

This talks about the Anthony Weiner joke I mentioned up above.

Trump Cracks an Anthony Weiner Joke in Classified Docs Audio Acquired by CNN

Trump shows a clear consciousness of wrongdoing here.

After Trump mentions the papers are "highly confidential" and "secret information" a female staffer jokes, "Hillary would print that out all the time, you know. Her private e-mails."

Trump responds, "No, she'd send it to Anthony Weiner." ... and the room laughs.

Trump's attacks on Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Presidential General Election Campaign were disingenuous. He obviously doesn't truly see anything wrong with the lax handling of classified material. Remember all of those "Lock her up!" chants?

On so many levels Donald Trump is a fraud.

Hillary committed several crimes but she’s a dem and part of the swamp so it’s all good. Just like the dementia patient

Does it get any "swampier" than Donald Trump at this point?

Donald Trump clearly doesn't believe that laws involving the handling of classified material, which he repeatedly accused Hillary Clinton of breaking in 2016, are laws that he should also be expected to follow.

Trump even jokes about it. That's pretty swampy behavior.

That's a joke.

Someone who is "anti-swamp" doesn't believe that they are above the same laws that they accuse other people of breaking. Someone who is "anti-swamp" follows the law. Someone who is "anti-swamp" is not so easily exposed for being an epic-level hypocrite.

You don't truly care about ridding the United States government of corrupt figures, when you are referring to a man with the morals, ethics, and principles of Donald Trump as being "anti-swamp."

I won’t be preached to by a lib who supports the Biden crime family and supported Hillary about morals and ethics

I never "supported Hillary about morals and ethics," ... and I offer very little support for Biden, other than to say that he is a better alternative than Trump.

To the contrary, I have always said that Joe Biden is the epitome of a career politician, and he represents what is wrong about our government, as much as anyone.

Of course because you people can’t have a president who wants to make America great and puts America first

So if it is Biden vs. DeSantis who would you pull the lever for?

You really have to ask?
He just said Biden is the poster child for all that is wrong with our government. In this strawman he could opt for the DC outsider. We can only hope.
DeSantis has moved too far to the right. He is an extremist and a homophobe. I also think he would govern too much by way of executive orders. DeSantis has never shown an effort for bi-partisan negotiation and compromise.

I would vote for Biden.

However, I would listen to Tim Scott, Nikki Haley and Chris Christie ... and consider voting for them if they were the nominee of the Republican Party. That is unlikely, though.

You’re going to vote for whoever the Dem nominee is (M Obama) regardless who the R nominee is.

That's empty campaign rhetoric. It's also what makes the Republican Party a genuine cult of personality right now. It's an unconditional support without regard for reality. You don't want to know what the truth is. You have never shown yourself capable of objectively assessing Trump for what he is, based on established facts.
