The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

Why Evangelicals Support President Trump, Despite His Immorality

The evangelical embrace of Republicans who clearly do not embody Christian values, definitely did not begin with Donald Trump or even with George W. Bush. Trump just exacerbates it, because of how coarse his mannerisms are, and how overtly vindictive he is.

* Billy Graham was a confidant of Richard Nixon's, and he refused to denounce Nixon's anti-Semitic rants from the Watergate tapes. Nixon frequently referred to Jews as "kikes," ... even when they were his loyal friends - like Henry Kissinger.

Lot of hypocrites out there. Like Hilary painting herself as an ally of the alphabet community and getting busted calling Christopher Hitchens a ”f**”. People should always assume that politicians are using them.

The difference is that only the right claimed the moral high ground.

Any narrative that you owned vanished like a fart in the wind when you hitched your wagon to yam tits.
So true!

The left never claimed the moral high ground or injected morality when arguing their policy positions.

You got me there…..

Oh. I’m in absolute agreement that some people are cured of some cancers. But that isn’t the same as “We’ve cured some cancers”.
I think we’re splitting hairs on this one but our Drs have made the same claims. There are cancers that just are not the death sentence they once were.

Not really a issue I’m that interested in so I’ll butt back out

I think the pertinent point is that not all cancers can be fixed at this point in time, and biden can't claim any part in the advances that have been made. He hasn't fixed anything; he's simply taking victory laps for stuff he and his party have never accomplished.

Crazy that they felt the need to amend the law.
Only because one administration ever sought an interpretation of the law (the 1887 Vote Count Act), in the self-serving and completely undemocratic way that Trump and a few of his attorneys did.

Just because the law was amended, to shore up any loopholes, does not mean that Mike Pence would have gotten away with declining to count electoral votes from Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada, if such a subversion of democracy had been attempted.

The duly appointed electors from those states, had already been legally chosen by their state legislatures in accordance with both the United States Constitution and Federal Election Commission law, based on the outcome of the popular vote in their respective states. They had also already cast their votes, when the electoral college was convened in mid-December.

There are not words sufficiently strong enough to describe how illogical and irrational the "alternate elector" theory was. It would have never held up in court.

Would Republicans have approved of Al Gore declining to count electoral votes from the state of Florida on January 6, 2001? I mean, after all, the state of Florida was certainly being contested in 2000? I highly doubt it ... and Gore had a much better case for having been cheated, than Trump has ever had. The state of Florida was decided by 537 votes in 2000 - where the winning candidate's brother was also the Governor - and that was the state which completely decided the entire election itself.

So who is the flawless person you would have evangelicals vote for?
The last few general elections.

Trump= “Grab em by the pu***”. Disqualified
Biden=Plagiarist and friends with KKK members. Disqualified

Hillary=Caught in countless lies. Prominent abortion advocate.

Obama in 2012= Lied to the entire country about being able to keep their Doctor in order to pass legislation. Also used drones to kill children

Romney= Completely unethical businessman among other things.

Evangelicals have a flawless person they follow. Not waiting on a flawless politician.
Being flawed is human.

Donald Trump is immoral, unprincipled, egocentric, vulgar, narcissistic and habitually dishonest.

Donald Trump is flawed to an extreme.

Posting Blind.

Not going to Argue but DJT's ultimate goal was to create total choas on 6 Jan.
The memo if true is daming. I suspect it is.
His twitter Account DMs I suspect will be another brick on the wall.
The J6 judge will move very quickly.
GA kicks off next week.
The plan to use Military force with illegal orders to thwart protests for the Chaos that he created.
No telling what is going to happen to the "Save America" PAC funds.

So add these thoughts to the above.
Smith alleged that Trump illegally:

(1) pressured state election officials to declare that Trump won the states they represent (even though he did not);
(2) attempted to send “fake electors” to vote in the Electoral College (even though they had no power to vote);
(3) tried to get members of the Justice Department to endorse the idea that there was election fraud (even though there was not);
(4) sought to get then-Vice President Mike Pence to refuse to certify the Electoral College votes (even though he had no constitutional authority to do so); and
(5) supported an angry mob who attempted to prevent the certification of the Electoral College.

It is copied and pasted but it is pretty clear this is a pretty close analysis of what Trump did. It is getting easier to prove daily.

1st Amendment rights violated, I don't think so, Don.

Next Up is GA. Who cares who Willis slept with? I would not sleep with her. She has the goods on him and he is panic. Of course her indictments span out to more than Trump so some are worried.

It is close to being over... Now start digging into Biden and start a thread and maybe we will get two decent candidates to run for President.

You need the cover to judge a book?
If we had a picture of the cover, that would tell us a lot. We would know the brand and who manufactured it, how old it was and have a better feel for whether or not it was possible for the contents of the diary to have been altered.

Pot, kettle, Black, and whatnot
There is no equivalent to the Trump cult. To claim there is a pot/kettle similarity just makes you look stupid. Or maybe a troll.
Possibly a stupid troll.

Either way, you're not worth the conversation.

The bolded is admittedly and intentionally pathetic.

The Republican Party loyalty towards, and love affair with Donald Trump meets every criteria of a Cult of Personality.

Their only defense, is to play offense, and accuse Democrats of the same thing - even though that doesn't make any sense.

Trump is not the simpleton you think he is. He absolutely has a belief system. He absolutely has a plan. He absolutely has a strategy. Trump is all about Trump but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know business. He’s a crook and a scoundrel but definitely not a moron.

Trump is simply an over the top marketing guy who thinks any press is good. Not hard to understand his inane comments once you accept that. He does have his own brand, and he's no doubt obsessed with it. At least that's more honest than the normal slime in DC who claim it's all about you ... well, all about somebody, you may not be one of the handout recipients.

Smarter than the Average Bear. I would love to see his K - 2nd grade report cards, the comments. Something happened to him in the early years of his life.

Doesn’t surprise me a mentally ill/weak lunatic like yourself has zero self awareness. Seems to be a cult of you on hear that doubles as support group for looney leftists.
