“She presented it as ‘I can get my life together, I worked for Joe Biden. I had a really high-level job. I have that capacity.” Wrye said. “I’m a psychologist and she confided with me in a lot of things, but not that. She never talked about the sexual assault, period, or anything inappropriate with him.”

1) Is the claim consistent -- do the reported facts change over time?

2) Is there reason to suspect the candor of the claimant

3) Is there reason to suspect the candor of the person denying the claim?

4) Is this consistent with what the claimant has said before? Is it internally consistent?

5) Is the claim timely, and if not is there a credible reason why not?

If "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" is a person's rational for worshiping Trump, then that person doesn't really factor into consideration. If it's not Trump, they'll latch onto the next most divisive person.
The better consideration is for republicans to assess why so many on the right claim the left as an "enemy". Therein, would lie some eye opening discoveries. But repubs are not yet up to that task.
