Did any of you ever think that we don't really like Trump ... and a lot of us never have, but we are sick and tired of do nothing republicans and RINOs, and Trump has been the first anti-dem to happen in what seems like forever? The GOP has been foundering like TN football after Fulmer and before Heupel - actually even at it's worst, Vol football still made the GOP look incompetent. In fact, if QBs were GOP presidential candidates Peterman (at UT) would have far outclassed Romney and what's his name, and Guarantano would have been a star.

Trump is an Anti-Democrat and that is good, but Trump is the #1 RINO in the Republican Party.
All he had to do was to keep his mouth shut, but by not doing so he showed it was all about him and not the Republican Party. Concede, shut mouth and he is a shoo-in. He chose the Trump route, whined himself into a hole, committed a crime or two, and ditched half of the Republican Party. All he had to do was lay low and STFU.

I'd say 90 % of the Dem party wants a different nominee than Biden whereas about half of the GOP wants a nominee other than Trump.

That means the likelihood of Trump being dethroned is much lower than Biden. You can view that as a good or a bad thing. You can view it as increasing odds for Trump to win the general. You can view it as possibly hurting the GOP's chances in other races, beyond the presidency.

It also means that the Dems are ready to turn on a dime and cast their lot in with someone else. The tumult if he's out is momentary. But if Trump is ousted, it will not be willingly, and that means a lot of angry Trumpsters within the GOP. A hole helluva lot.

Any dim will be a disaster no different than Biden.

Why should he do exactly what they want?? Thier play is simple, trial shortly before election, appeal after when the election is over. No one has the ball to retroactively overturn an election. He's right to push it back and legally if the truly gave him 12 million pages of discovery then he should have the same 2 1/2 years to go thru it

These charges all stem from 2020 coorect?? It was 2 1/2 years to gather evidence and bring charges correct,?? Having been indicted before I was advised that I was allowed a similar amount of time ( and rame of charges) had I chosen to.

Interesting. I knew that the government ran interference for the Saudis after some of them orchestrated 9/11. I knew they had at least one agent provocateur on Jan. 6th. I didn't know they were involved in the Boston marathon bombing.

I would think delaying a criminal prosecution in order to see whether or not the accused gains the power to pardon himself isn't how the system is supposed to work.

Abortion is a completely complex subject of which there should have been a reasonable compromise. I am a Pro Lifer, but when I think about Taxpayer's $$$$ going toward raising unwanted children that show up on doorsteps. Taxpayer's $$$$ on Medical, Education, Food, Housing and a myriad of things I question if the right thing has been done. We will look like China and you think we have an immigration problem now we will have a nightmare funding those new in country arrivals in this country. Who is will be paying for it, the American Taxpayer.

Biden and Trump have had there 4 years and have done nothing to prove they deserve another 4 years to fix it. Also, the electorate ought to know the outcome before voting. That would be a stronger argument if there were cameras in the courtroom, but the case will be reported on just as heavily as the indictment. You’d have to really be trying to not know what’s happening at this point.

If only there were other alternatives to unwanted pregnancies. I have no problem with the morning after pill or terminating a pregnancy due to rape or incest.
