The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

DeSantis has done nothing while over 100 Floridians have been drug up to kangaroo DC Courts and many given ridiculous sentences and bankrupted through legal costs.
What, exactly, is a governor supposed to do about criminal proceedings in a different jurisdiction?
Did nothing when the FBI raided a former President residing in his State.
What, exactly, is a governor supposed to do about federal law enforcement executing a search warrant signed by a federal judge?
He doesnt seem like the one who really wants to challenge the "Deep State".
Or maybe he simply understands how jurisdiction works.

The Governor makes his State as ungovernable as possible for the Feds. He speaks out about the abuse of his citizens. He encourages other States to join.

Or he could do nothing.

Just about every Federal agency needs massive operational support from the States they operate in. To start, he could pull all State operational assistance.

If DeSantis had done what you say, the Feds would have found a way to indict him on Trumped up charges.

That doesn't answer either question. What could Ron DeSantis, or any other governor in any other state, do about criminal proceedings in a completely different jurisdiction or a search warrant signed by a federal judge? Name just one single action that a governor could take to prevent either from happening.

Or he could do nothing.
Which is what he's bound to do by law.

States arent required to assist the Feds. That being said, if they want to find a way to indict him, as the kangaroo DC Courts have shown, they can easily do it.

Again, he says he wants to take on the Deep State, but so far as Governor I have seen no evidence of that.

And the feds don't require assistance from the states. If the FBI has a warrant, then there is nothing the State can do to prevent its execution.

The Feds do require quite a bit of operational assistance from States. The FBI often needs State and local law enforcement assistance.

No. They often request it. They do not require it.

And FWIW, the states will often request the assistance of the FBI.

Yeah, I edited to change require to need.

No different than when States refused to help Trump round up illegals.

If DeSantis wanted to get really frisky he could block the FBI from operating in Florida due to the repeated Constitutional violations of Floridians in DC Courts.

Now this is something I would like to see if for nothing else the entertainment it would bring.

DeSantis can't block a federal agency from operating in Florida.

I would like to see the law that you're relying on that says a governor can block the FBI from operating in his state. Unless your argument is that he should do it even though doing so would be unlawful.

The system has proven to be dishonest. So yes an honest man does mind being questioned
I agree with this. Normally I’d say it’s silly to go on tv and then basically plead the fifth but I guess he’s got to campaign. I do think it’s funny that he was trashing Hewitt on Hewitt’s own show and Hugh sat and took it and will still go on carrying his water.

He could for a while and it would bring attention to the J6ers Constitutional violations . It would be fun and short lived.

He could do it and base it on the constitutional violations of Floridians in DC Courts. He would have to give in and Courts would step in quickly but it would be fun to eff with the Feds.

What would be unlawful about it?

Is that a serious question?

Does federal law, or rather do federal law enforcement have more rights than the States?

Seems to me the Federal side has taken a lot more than the 10th Amendment intended especially in regards to law enforcement. Each State is and should be responsible for enforcing laws within their borders. Law enforcement has been and should be a local or State matter since it's not granted to the federal government.

And before you mention it, border control isn't a law enforcement matter though it's been made to seem that way.

The crimes in question did not occur within the borders of DeSantis' state.

However, their constitutional rights are being infringed in DC.

If these trials were held in their State most of those now in DC gulags would have been found not guilty.

Bunch of wanna-be confederates up in here.
You boys need to quit your b!tching, go buy an island somewhere and start your own sh!thole country.
Take orange man with you and appoint him as your king.
