The "best president" in 12 years? You need a reality check--and more. He tried to subvert an American presidential election, ace. Have you forgotten--or do you actually believe his bull$hit about election fraud. (I'm guessing you do.) He incited an attack on the U.S. Capitol that resulted in several deaths, including police officers. He's corrupt to the bone. Best president in 12 years? How about worst and most dangerous president in American history.

Trump ballooned the debt more than any POTUS in history (at best basically tied with Obama). If the point of dumping McCarthy was his refusal to make debt a priority, it make no sense to replace him with Trumpelstilskin.

Fact is, anyone taking that post will have the same problem McCarthy had, which is that a half dozen super right wingers want the chaos, for chaos' sake.

I have never said I opposed the spending which occurred in association with it. I believe that during the banking crisis that both Bush and Obama did what they thought was best in terms of spending. Likewise, I believe that Trump and Biden took steps which they reasonably believed necessary to address Covid effects on the economy.

I would not vote for, or against, any of them based on those spending issues, at the time.

But you cannot have it both ways. You cannot be an absolutist like the far right of the GOP self-righteously claims to be when it comes to spending, but then carve out exceptions, and say what Trump did was okay, what Biden did was not. Its all a fraud.

The debt problem does not have a singular magical fix and those touting an absolutist position (even when hypocritically looking the other way when its GOP spending pushing the debt higher) are either incredibly naive, or banking on their constituency being incredibly stupid.

So long spin to say Trump was right in the Covid relief. But other side, you like the perk of saying he increased the debt but glaze over the Covid part.

No, I'm saying that relying on a snapshot of literally decades of overspending by a given POTUS is a fool's errand. It took decades to get into this level of debt, it will take decades of compromise and hard choices to get out..

And Sicknick died of a stroke one day after being physically assaulted by the mob.


In the days and weeks after the riot, five police officers who had served at the Capitol on Jan. 6 died.

The Capitol Police had previously said that Officer Sicknick died from injuries sustained “while physically engaging with protesters.” The Washington medical examiner later ruled that he had died of natural causes: multiple strokes that occurred hours after Officer Sicknick’s confrontation with the mob. The medical examiner added, however, that “all that transpired played a role in his condition.”

A bipartisan Senate report, released in June, found that the seven deaths were connected to the Capitol attack. But the report was issued a month before two Metropolitan Police officers — Gunther Hashida and Kyle DeFreytag — died by suicide in July.

The police agencies have not classified the four total suicides as “line of duty” deaths that would provide the victims’ families with enhanced benefits. Washington law excludes suicide deaths from the line-of-duty designation.

Get over it. I am not doing your work for you, do your research regarding my claims. I have spent enough time with your BS and mostly what you state is just hot air. It's an open board and what got me started was your falsehood and attacking my political acumen... Faulty judgement and should my take my own advice to never "wrestle with a pig".
