The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

LOL

Everytime I see her attacked personally, it reeks of desperation.

I think you guys know that this is where he's most vulnerable and you're scared.
I think the case has a pretty solid path to unraveling.

Sounds like she’s tacitly admitted to the affair. It does create an indirect conflict of interest and raises questions about her discretion where she would otherwise be entitled to almost complete deference. If she’s removed from the case, it will likely end up with somebody who is far less interested or who benefits from dismissing it. Removing her would be a big deal but the judge gets out of a major time suck and three ring circus so if it is even a close call I could see it happening.

It's Looking Worse for Fani Willis As Judge Orders Hearing on Misconduct Allegations

1705614710494.png

It's been a bad few weeks for Fulton County DA Fani Willis (D) in her case against former and potentially future President Donald Trump, and it looks like it could get worse. On Thursday, The Washington Post reported that Judge Scott McAfee, who is overseeing the case, has scheduled a hearing for February 15 about allegations Willis had an improper relationship with Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade. She must respond in writing by February 2.

A "bombshell" report recently came out alleging that Willis hired Wade to lead the RICO case into Trump and a slew of co-defendants for their actions to do with the 2020 election. One of the co-defendants, Michael Roman, wants the charges against him to be dismissed. There's also concerns to do with Willis colluding with Democrats to charge Trump and a misuse of funds. Members of Congress such as House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Reps. Cory Mills (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) have made their thoughts that the matter needs to be looked into abundantly clear.

Sure.

The difference here is that he's the one on trial.

As much as you want to liken his 91 felony counts to pee tapes, it's not the same. But you know that.

It's a bit ironic if you think about it, the MAGA goofs cry about donny being a victim, while attacking every single facet of controls that could possibly hold him accountable. From federal and district judges, prosecutors, the FBI, CIA, IRS, DOJ, the electoral system across the country and the media - he's snowed all of you into actually believing he's the good guy and it's all a conspiracy to get him.

Not once have you guys stopped to think, 'maybe there's some truth to it.'
You can find a felony on just about everyone to bring about an indictment, particularly those in public service, and on many people in general. The spider web of laws we have in this country allow for that. Technicalities and gray areas everywhere. Doesn't mean the indictments will be successful, and is doesn't mean that charges should have ever been brought. There is a reason why prosecutors brought this pile of steaming excrement up. They are scared to death of Trump, and will do anything in their power to see him never swore into office again.

I think they’ll take him out if he sniffs the White House.

Stop comparing Biden to the gangster. It's completely and utterly stupid to do so. It suggests that one has no knowledge of the lives and character
of the two men. It's ignorance. Biden is not in any way like the gangster--and only morons would think otherwise. Seriously. People who are not educated clearly do not think very well.
This is why no one takes you seriously. You're a parrot repeating this same s*** on every page. Believing Biden is of any higher moral character than Trump is equally stupid. Just stop with your blind, loyal bias. You talk about lack of critical thought, well the guy looking back at you in the mirror is leading the charge. Do better.

After the fake electors scheme and eating popcorn whole the j6 riots played out, every rational person ought to be terrified of what he's capable of.

Name some of the felonies you and people you know have committed

Allegations that DA Willis was schtupping the Special Prosecutor appointed by her for the RICO case against Trump and others are reported incessantly by various news outlets, some of which contend that this jeopardizes the case. How? Why isn’t the how the two of them doing the nasty impacts the case being reported?

“Journalism” doesn’t exist anymore. Murrow, Cronkite, Chet & David are turning over in their graves.

We won’t know for sure until it proceeds, but it has been said that if Willis and her sidekick are guilty of what they’re accused of, then it wasn’t just unethical but criminal as well. If it can be shown that they at the least were involved in unethical behavior, their whole team must be removed from the case and the entire process must start over with finding a jury to bring charges. Time-wise would put a trial way after the upcoming election.

It’s going to be very easy to prove what they’re accused of if it is true, and if it is, they are screwed.

It will be interesting to see how things unfurl (if there’s competent reporting). I do not see accusations against Willis and the special prosecutor forcing a complete redo. It may force the replacement of the prosecutor (even the appearance of impropriety could do that). A new lead prosecutor could retain members of the prosecutorial team who aren’t tainted by scandal or bring an entirely new team. I wonder if a change in lead prosecutor would prompt a change in defense strategy.

Supposedly Georgia law would force the entire process to start completely over from the beginning if they are removed for unethical behavior.

I'm talking about alternative electors in place for Gore and Hillary in 2000 and 2016. This is not the first time this has happened. There wasn't a stink raised about it then.
False equivalence.
If you'll do a little research, you'll find out the difference between the situations you reference and the alternative elector plan in 2020.

If they are removed… What if the lead prosecutor is replaced beforehand?
My understanding is it won’t matter. I’ve also seen it suggested that she will step down/quit before the hearing the judge has scheduled because she won’t risk more legal trouble for herself by having things come to light in that hearing.

If she and that other guy really are/were having a relationship and he was billing crazy hours and they used that money to take vacations, they’ll both be looking at jail time.

Does your knowledge of Georgia law indicate a redo of the entire process if there is no finding of impropriety? I am curious as to the fate of the RICO trial if/when steps are taken without a finding of impropriety removing the DA and special prosecutor. Could a deputy DA and new lead prosecutor continue the case? Does the judge have the power to require starting anew with the empaneling of a grand jury without a finding of impropriety? Or dismiss the current prosecution allowing the DA’s antecesor to elect to start over?

I am not familiar with the particulars of the applicable Georgia law.

Gore and Hillary hired fake electors to cast EC votes that they knew were not legitimate?

You got a source for that claim?

Yeah, but if they do more than scratch at the headlines and use a little objectivity, the narrative falls apart.

I don’t know much about it, but I did read an incredibly outlined and detailed synopsis of what will happen (with links to laws/regulations) if she is tainted. I don’t think it continue at all. It doesn’t mean they can’t be re-charged, but it legally couldn’t move forward at that point from what I’ve read.
