The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

I don’t know much about it, but I did read an incredibly outlined and detailed synopsis of what will happen (with links to laws/regulations) if she is tainted. I don’t think it continue at all. It doesn’t mean they can’t be re-charged, but it legally couldn’t move forward at that point from what I’ve read.
Got a link to the synopsis?

Got a link to the synopsis?
I don’t. It was on a Reddit thread. Lots of bantering back and forth about the legal ramifications, but one post appeared to be very legalistic and I would guess was written by an actual attorney.

We will find out one way or another soon.

Fani Willis Traveled With Special Counsel On Several Trips, Court Records Show

Fani Willis, the Fulton County district attorney prosecuting former President Donald Trump, went on trips with the taxpayer-funded special counsel she appointed to the case, according to records revealed Friday in a divorce case involving his former spouse.

A motion filed last week by a defense attorney for one of Trump’s co-defendants accused Willis of being involved in a romantic and improper relationship with Nathan Wade, the main prosecutor leading the Georgia election interference case. On Thursday, Willis made clear she is seeking to quash a subpoena for her testimony in Wade’s divorce proceedings with his ex-wife, Joycelyn Wade, according to a court filing on Thursday.

But on Friday, a new filing seeking to keep Willis from dodging the subpoena was filed by attorneys for Wade’s ex-wife, revealing transactions by Wade that appear to show he and Willis went on a Royal Caribbean cruise together in October 2022.

The filing also references the pair’s travels to San Francisco and Napa.

“In these responses were credit card statements which demonstrated that Plaintiff had paid for and taken trips unrelated to his work with the Fulton County District Attorney’s office. Since Plaintiff filed for divorce, he has taken trips to San Francisco and Napa Valley, to Florida and even gone on Caribbean cruises, enjoyed a trip to Belize, another to the country of Panama and even just last month took a trip to Australia. The evidence is clear that Ms. Willis was an intended travel partner for at least some of these trips as indicated by flights he purchased for her to accompany him,” the filing added.

EXCLUSIVE: Fulton County Commissioner Requests Fani Willis Produce Info On Alleged ‘Misuse’ Of County Funds

Fulton County Commissioner Bob Ellis requested Friday that District Attorney Fani Willis disclose information relating to her potential “misuse” of county funds in her decision to appoint her alleged lover, Nathan Wade, as outside counsel in the case against former President Donald Trump.

Bank statements contained in a court filing Friday revealed that Wade purchased two airline tickets in Willis’ name, backing up allegations made in a motion by a Trump co-defendant that she benefited from the “lucrative” contract she awarded Wade when he took her on trips to these locations. Ellis told the Daily Caller News Foundation that “all Fulton county citizens and taxpayers deserve clear and truthful answers” from Willis, who he earlier noted has been “relatively obstinate” in answering questions from commissioners.

Willis was accused of enjoying cruises and vacations that Wade had paid for using county funds garnered from his work as a special prosecutor on Willis’ case against Trump. Wade has earned over $650,000 in legal fees from the county since the start of 2022.

In the letter obtained by the DCNF, Ellis requested Willis provide by Feb. 2 invoices for special prosecutors’ expenses and fees, their contracts with the office, payments from the office, the “professional experience” of each special prosecutor utilized by the office, as well as the “source of funding for any payments to special prosecutors” from Jan. 1, 2021 until now.

The letter also requests Willis provide information relating to “laws, rules, or regulations” that apply to a district attorney’s selection of a special prosecutor.

“Separate from any potential inquiry by the State of Georgia, this situation requires confirmation of whether County funds provided for the operation of your office and its prosecutorial function were used in an appropriate manner, and whether any payments of County funds to Mr. Wade were converted to your personal gain in the form of subsidized travel or other gifts,” the letter to Willis states.

I didn't ask for names. I know tons of people who haven't committed felonies vs. those who have committed them. Most people haven't committed felonies for that matter
I do agree that normal people are less likely to have technically committed a felony. The more people around you, and the more ventures you have increases this risk. You can get nailed on a technicality if the government chooses to do so.

I get that take. Being a con man and grifter increases the risk too

Uh oh. Looks like Fat Fanni is being “oppressed”… Oddly enough by another black woman?

Willis said the wife had “conspired with interested parties in the Criminal Election Interference Case to use the civil discovery process to annoy, embarrass and oppress District Attorney Willis.”

Fani Willis Vowed NOT To Date Staff and Claimed It's 'Inappropriate' in 2020 Interview - as she now faces hearing for 'hiring her lover' as top prosecutor in Trump election interference case

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis vowed never to date her employees in a resurfaced 2020 interview, as she now faces a hearing for hiring her lover to work on the Trump election interference case.

Willis, in charge of bringing the case against former President Donald Trump in his Georgia election interference case, is accused of having a secret relationship with Nathan Wade, whom she appointed as a special prosecutor in the high-profile case.

'I will certainly not be choosing to date people that work under me,' Willis told the Patricia Crayton Show while campaigning for district attorney.

'We are at a place in society where things happen in people's relationships — husbands and wives sometimes, there are outside relationships.

I don't think that that's what the community is concerned about. Although there might be a moral breaking in that,' she continued.

Adding: 'I think that what citizens are really, really concerned about is if you chose to have inappropriate contact with employees,' she continued.

'There's nothing I can say on it other than that it is distracting, it is certainly inappropriate for the No. 1 law officer in this state, and it really really saddens me,' she said.

Willis added it would be 'very unfortunate if the taxpayers of this community have to pay for any of those lawsuits.'

The Fulton County District attorney will appear before Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee on February 15 over allegations that she had an improper relationship with attorney Nathan Wade.

CNN Legal Analyst Says Lawyer Hired By Fani Willis Is Doing Something That Raises Serious Questions

CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig said Monday that counsel Nathan Wade is doing one thing that is furthering serious questions about his involvement in the racketeering case against former President Donald Trump.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is under fire for allegedly misusing county funds in her decision to appoint her alleged lover, Wade, as outside counsel in their case against Trump. Willis hired Wade & Campbell Firm, with partner Christopher Campbell being hired to provide services as a “Taint Attorney,” which is someone who reviews privileged evidence, the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) reported. Wade was appointed in November of 2021 to serve as special prosecutor in the case against Trump despite an alleged love affair.

Bank statements show Wade purchased flight tickets in Willis’ name for personal vacations. Wade’s firm has been paid roughly $654,000 from Willis’ office since 2022. (RELATED: ‘Certainly Looks Bad’: Bank Statements Make It Increasingly Likely Fani Willis Allegations Are True, Legal Experts Say)

Honig said Monday that Wade is allegedly billing nine-times more than the other two hired counsel, raising serious questions.

BREAKING NEWS Judge UNSEALS Divorce Case of Fani Willis' Top Prosecutor 'Lover' Nathan Wade: Fulton County DA's Deposition is put on hold in another dramatic twist in Trump's election subversion trial

The Fani Willis 'affair' scandal took another dramatic twist on Monday as Georgia ordered the unsealing of the divorce case of the Donald Trump prosecutor she is accused of having a inappropriate relationship with.

Now the Fulton County District Attorney who charged Trump with election subversion in Georgia faces more secrets of her ties to Nathan Wade being spilled.

The judge ordered the documents be made public after request brought by a defense attorney who alleges Wade is in an inappropriate relationship with Willis.

He also put off a final decision on whether Willis will have to sit for questioning in the divorce case, but delayed her deposition that had been scheduled for Tuesday.

Exclusive: Georgia Senate to Authorize Subpoena-Powered Probe into Alleged Fani Willis Misconduct

1705955407794.png

The Georgia Senate is set this week to authorize a subpoena-powered investigative committee to probe the alleged corruption of Fani Willis, Fulton County’s district attorney, Breitbart News exclusively learned Monday.

The potential committee is significant because Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) refused to launch a criminal investigation into Willis last week, citing the need for a currently non-operational oversight committee to open the probe.

The proposed Georgia Senate committee could hold subpoena power as soon as later this week to “secure the attendance of witnesses or the production of documents and materials” related to Willis, according to a resolution put forth by Georgia state Sen. Greg Dolezal (R-Forsyth). The committee, the only type of its kind in the state of Georgia, would comprise nine senators, only three of whom would be Democrats.

Trump Prosecutor Nathan Wade Slammed By Lawyers For ‘woefully inadequate’ Answers About DRUG, ALCOHOL Use: Divorce Docs

Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade was slammed for giving evasive answers about his alcohol, drug and medication use by his estranged wife’s attorneys, newly unsealed divorce documents show.

Wade has been embroiled in a contentious split from his wife of 26 years, Joycelyn Wade, since filing for divorce on Nov. 2, 2021.

He had filed papers just one day after being appointed special prosecutor in the Donald Trump election interference probe by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, with whom he is now said to be in a “clandestine” relationship, according to court filings.

Despite asking for a divorce, Nathan repeatedly failed to fully answer basic questions and provide documentation requested by Joycelyn in the case, instead giving information that was “so woefully inadequate so as to be useless,” the wife alleged in court papers from February 2023 — which were unsealed by a judge Monday.

Judge Previously Removed Fani Willis From 2020 Election Case For Political Bias

1706052499030.png

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis — who is facing backlash over allegedly misusing public funds in appointing her secret lover — was previously removed from another case involving the 2020 election results in Georgia.

Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney prohibited Willis from building a case against Georgia state Sen. Burt Jones, who was running for lieutenant governor at the time, after Willis hosted a fundraiser for Democratic candidate Charlie Bailey in his runoff race, NBC News reported. McBurney reportedly ruled that Willis’ involvement in the fundraiser was “harmful” to the investigation into Jones, who allegedly was involved with other state Republicans to flip the 2020 election results using an alternate slate of electors.
