The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

I fully expect Neil Degras Tyson one day to explain that Scrooge McDuck would have broken his spine diving into a pool of gold coins from that height due to acceleration of gravity and density of gold.
Peter Griffin tried it, didn’t work out well for him.

Without seeing or following much other than what was posted here, I predict she isn’t removed and all these twitter morons will just say it’s evidence that Trump can’t get a fair trial.

Is he the same guy that said the earths spin caused a NFL field goal to hit the upright and bounce in?

What are you seeing here that leads you to believe she’ll be allowed to continue?

You are a big Fani fan aren't you?
This one will be one of the most entertaining to watch if this meltdown plays out. He always falls hard for low integrity twitter narratives and still hasn’t figured out why lawyers rarely pursue the crackhead theories proposed by his infowars legal correspondents or why judges never side with the ones who do. Maybe the 7th time will be the charm.

More of a mostly uninformed gut feeling, having seen this before sort of from the criminal legal side and definitely from the right wing punditry side, and maybe a bit of what I don’t see.

The reality is nuanced: judges apply legal standards to the facts as they see them.

I don’t know the exact legal standard here, but it is an extraordinary ask to have a prosecutor disqualified from a case. It’s a high bar.
What’s posted here is presumably the best bits for Trump, posted by a bunch of twitter accounts that have no integrity and absolutely nothing to lose by being all hype and no substance. In the eyes of moronic people who rely on them, people like Robert Barnes, Clay Travis, Johnathan Turley, and Julie Karen can never be wrong. If they get it wrong it’s because the judge must be be biased against Trump. There’s no skin in it for them. They’re just cheerleaders.
By their account, it seems Trump team established that Wade and Willis have a relationship and take trips together and Wade paid for travel.
Seems like everything else is, at a minimum, contested.
Very little has been posted in the way of contradictory evidence.
They’re basically just relying on the judge finding Willis and Wade not credible. That’s easy for cheerleaders to declare mission accomplished, but it’s another huge ask.

For the judge to see the facts in Trump’s favor, means the judge has to find that the prosecutor whose deputies practice in their court every day, confining rapists and murderers, is such a liar that even her essentially incontestable statements can’t be accepted as truthful.

Again, I don’t know every detail about what happened today, but I’ll be surprised if that happens.

I think this was more than likely a worthwhile motion on these facts, I think voters ought to remember it when Fani Willis comes up for re-election, but it’s probably more napalm of embarrassment with a bit of Hail Mary than a high probability silver bullet.

Certainly seems a high bar. Not sure I could even think of another instance of a prosecutor being removed.

If she continues, will they be able to tie it up anymore from a timeline perspective, or do you think it proceeds at a regular pace going forward?

By Infowars lawyer, you are referring to Robert Barnes?

What typically happens when a lawyer or lawyers knowingly perjured themselves??? Or how does lawyers embezzling funds typically effect a case?

RT85 defended the CT kangaroo Court "trial" of Alex Jones, he doesn't understand that the Executive is the ultimate arbiter of classification and defended the Fed Govt in going after Trump in that case, he evidently also is ok with Georgia bringing a ridiculous RICO suit against a sitting President, has no problem with how Jack Smith has handled the Trump DC case, etc, etc. He is a boot licker.

If he is actually a lawyer, he is probably right up there with the likes of Michael Avenatti.

--willis hires wade whom she had been having an affair with since 2019 as testified to by witness(es) which is a conflict of interest

--wade has never handle any important case as an attorney, just small, petty stuff therefore is not qualified to handle rico case against Pres trump

--wade is not qualified yet willis pays him more money (about 700k) than attorneys who are experienced and experts in rico cases

--then willis and wade take extravagant vacations around the world using taxpayer money payed to willis....he paid for these expenses with his credit card.....so there is criminal impropriety all over this

--- before the hearing yesterday, willis and wade collude to create a story about keeping large amounts of cash in their houses. So willis claims she paid wade back in cash for all the expenses....cash leaves no paper trail. Why didn't willlis write wade a check to prove she paid him back? There's no evidence willis pays her other bills in cash. No reciepts for where she supposedly paid wade back the money.....we are supposed to be simple minded enough to believe this concocted story. The supposed proof willis paid wade back is “The testimony of one witness is enough to prove a fact.” and what did wade do with all the cash willis paid him? no records of bank deposits. Did he just walk around with large sums of money his pocket, did he keep large sums of money around his house like willis?

attorney: "So you have no proof of any reimbursement of any of these things because it was all cash, right?"

Fani Willis: "The testimony of one witness is enough to prove a fact."

so if i rob a bank and go to trial i can witness that i did not rob that bank since the witness of one is enough to prove a fact?

--willis testified she took money from her first campaign and kept it in her house spending money on personal items..a felony

--wade went to washington dc to collude with biden about prosecution of trump and willis said she did not go to dc

--jim jordan should file criminal referral in the house of reps. today against willis and wade

--does willis have the power as DA to investigate the judge overseeing this case to make his life miserable if she so desires to? is this why the judge allowed some of willis' theatrics? case should be heard in different venue.

--willis was wearing her dress backwards

Nothing to see here. Trump is a crook. Juries and prosecutors are honest. Let’s get on with the lynching.

she a lie, she justa a lie

here again is the major problem with this case...

@RealHickory
Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee should not only disqualify Fani Willis and her special prosecutor boyfriend. He should dismiss the case against Trump and recommend she be disbarred and prosecuted. But, it's obvious that he's afraid of her because she's the DA where he lives. Fani can investigate a judge and make his life miserable in a heartbeat! Just because she may be disqualified from the Trump case, she's still the DA of Fulton County, and this judge knows it, plus he worked for her at one time. Now you can see where this is potentially going, which is, nowhere!
