I’m not sure this proves he’s broke. He might be. But it’s also just smart to plead for a discount. Or try to get an interest free extension by stating you need time to liquidate funds.

I got a ticket the other day for running a stop sign. It’s $130. Do I have $130?? Yep! Am I gonna plead with the judge to reduce the fine? Yep!

So here's the thing, Hogg... People can actually favor policies and candidates that are centrist. I've voted for both GOP and DEM prez candidates in the past. I'm hopeful that we'll have a moderate third party candidate emerge for this Fall other than Biden or Trump. Both of these guys are too old to serve, and neither one is the long term solution to our country's challenges.

Politics has become so divisive at this point . We need someone who can reach across the aisle and build fences, not Trump who only aims to disrupt and destroy nor Biden who is clearly fighting to simply maintain his cognitive ability.

I hear what you're saying, but my skepticism (of just a few polls) derives from recent history. There is no question that there are some polls which skew heavily in the favor of Republicans. In the 2022 mid-terms, Fox News made the mistake of only trusting polls which confirmed what they wanted to believe, They wound up with egg on their collective face as a result.





I'm not saying all polls are meaningless. I'm saying that a few definitely are, and they tend to favor Republicans. Those Harris polls and Rasmussen really skew the averages.

The gangster is deeply, deeply corrupt and a malignant, sinister liar. We can't have anybody of such incalcuably low character in the White House. Only somebody mentally ill would get impeached twice, try to subvert an election and incite an attack on the U.S. Capitol--and prove generally incompetent--and then decide to run again. Mentally ill. It's all a personal power trip with the guy. And people who still support him are mentally ill and people of low character. The man does not respect U.S. laws, other people, has been conning and bullying people all his lilfe, and is a complete and utter dick of a human being--AND he wants to be the bitch of our major adversary. .... other than to say that the manner in which Donald Trump handled losing the 2020 Presidential Election, from the countless lies and frivolous law suits, to the fake elector scheme and publicly pressuring Pence to not include electoral votes during certification from hand-picked states they had lost, and then ultimately culminating with the riot at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 following his "Stop the Steal" rally, will be a lasting part of his legacy .... and it's a shameful stain. He has only himself to blame for that.

One of the most important things a President does is nominate Supreme Court Justices. Although, he denied it at the time, there clearly was a litmus test on abortion .... and the Dobbs ruling should be placed squarely in the lap of Trump as a result of his nominations of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Coney-Barrett. Overturning Roe v Wade is as right wing as it gets.
