The Masters Tournament

Craig Stadler isn't playing this year. He was awful last year. His son is in though.

Lucas Glover's 5 year US Open Championship qualification has run out.

Ernie Els has qualified only with the 2012 British Open win. He's good through 2017 but is probably done after that since he's never won a Masters.

I'd like to see Sandy Lyle make the cut. Watson, Crenshaw, and Couples too.

Koepka looks questionable at best after having to WD yesterday. Not a likely contender, since this year would be his first, but he can bomb it, and if he got a hot putter, he could make some noise.

Just waiting on Doozer to jump in

I really doubt he plays
I think he takes the whole year off

I'd put money on Couples making the cut. I'd be shocked if Lyle, Watson, or Crenshaw did, though.

Once the former champions start missing the cuts, they're closer to bowing out. I hate when they quit playing. Seeing them is another reason to love the Masters. Sandy Lyle looks older, but is only 57. He could still make a run. Crenshaw is 63, Watson is 65. They don't have many left. Fred is 55. If his back holds together, he could compete for several more years.

Monday practice round tickets are down to about 300.00 on stubhub. I don't think that's unreasonable for a once in a lifetime kind of thing.

If you're willing to wait, you can get them for less than that I'm sure.

The golf shop in Fayetteville, was offering a pretty good deal...

They chartered a flight and for $1500 bucks, you fly down in the morning, get a practice round ticket for the day, and fly back that night...with all food and drink included

This will be my third year in row going. We have Monday tickets this year. Excited to go again.

I'm jealous.

We drove through Augusta on our way to Myrtle Beach a couple years ago, and we stopped and took pictures at the gates. I had goosebumps just being at the gates. I don't know what I'd do if I actually got inside the gates.

reach down and touch the grass, because its so manicured and green, it doesn't seem real

This first thing I did when I walked through the gates was get a huge whiff of somebody smoking pot.

The whole experience is way better than I ever expected. Everyone is super nice and the prices for food are so cheap and not to mention good food.

I figured traffic would be terrible but it really wasn't that bad. Getting in the gate was quick too. I think they have better/quicker security than most airports.

Well said. One of the few experiences in life that will not only meet, but exceed, your wildest expectations. It's fantastic.

I just want inside the gates. I don't care if it's Monday, Sunday, or any day in between.

You can scalp tickets if you really want to pay the money. That is the only way you are for sure going to get in the gates.

I have just been extremely lucky and had three years in row were either myself or someone I know won tickets through the lottery. I am willing to bet this will be the last time for a while that I get them.
