The Masters

Not to stir you up again but I thought it was comical that Lefty just said length was a huge issue when playing here. Said he's been working out for this tournament and seeing a back specialist to address this very issue.

Think I'll take his word for it.

But...but...but govols/cc is the ultimate authority on all things golf.

I read a stat this week that basically said the avg. number of starts at Augusta before a golfer won was 6.

Something to consider when picking Kymer, McIlroy, etc.

Freddy is a long shot. Nantz would have multiple joygasms.

Kim could get hot and make noise as well.

I use to like Freddy until I met him in person. He's an a-hole.

If the course is playing hard & fast length wont be an issue for most of the field.

Fred Couples is quite possibly the biggest closet A-hole out there. I don't know where the love for him comes from. Probably his laid back style and demeanor. I've been around him on a few occasions and have never gotten the vibe he is a friendly person. He ISN'T as popular with the other playes as he is made out to be either. If it weren't for Nantz having such an influential TV position, Freddy wouldn't get near as much love

Length is absolutely a huge issue regardless if it's playing hard and fast. It's a big difference when the big hitters have short irons into THESE greens vs the average and short drivers having mid to long irons into them.

Phil is going two carry to driver's...the second one is an inch longer, with 5.9 degrees of loft.

He said it gives him another 12-15 yards, and he was going to use it on 3 specific holes...

:birgits_giggle:
The better question might be: Has he ever won his club championship?

The thought crossed my mind the way this guy carries on as if he's the foremost authority in golf that it might truefan.

Why's that?

Oooooohhhh, too soon? Anyone? Anyone?
Honestly Milo, he comes across to me as one of those fake personalities. I've always had the feelig that underneath all the media hype, there lies an egotistical jackass.

Never once met the man, and shouldn't jump to conclusions, I know. Just the vibe I get...

The best way to judge the character of a person is to ask his peers.

Boom Boom had always been a keep to himself kinda guy and I think people mistake that for being a jerk sometimes. He's not deliberate about it, its just the way he is.

This is the way I see it... I can sympathize a bit, I'm usually that guy. I think Phil is a genuinely nice dude. I'd like to see him win.

Not a Phil fan. He might be great guy but he sets off my bs detector.
