I think all coaches should have to work out the contract ! No way out,glad he is gone but they shouldn't be able to leave recruits they bring in,and deceive parents they promise

I've never seen a group turn on a guy as quickly as they've turned on Franklin.

While you can say it's similar to us and Kiffin, not quite. I would agree if Kiffin had given us the most success we had experienced in a century and then lied through his teeth, ok. But he didn't, he left us a dumpster fire with only giving us a 7-6 record to show for it. Franklin almost doubled their bowl appearances in his only 3 years. They've had 4 9 win seasons, and Franklin did it 2 years in a row, and the last one before that was 1915.

It's hilarious them acting like he's some cancer and that PSU is getting some chump, when that "chump" gave them their best football in 100 years.

Saw a hilarious bit where a UT fan was in a discussion with some Vandy fans on Vandymania. He wasn't trolling by any means, just discussing recruits.

Anyways a Vandy fan said "I found a video of Tennessee recruiting" and he posted it, and it was some lame video of how to make Orange Marmalade or something (I guess that's funny in the Vandy world).

And the UT fan responded with "funny I found a video of Vandy recruiting" and he posted a video of the Titanic sinking.

I lulz'd. Bravo sir (whoever you are).

There's really no point in even trying to discuss anything with them, even if you're trying to be civil. They'll insult you no matter what you say, especially if they know you're a Vols fan.

I'm shocked that dipwad Yates let a Vol fan actually post. He usually doesn't even allow them to post or bans them immediately. The real hypocrisy of that place is he'll claim he must approve other fans because they'll come in and troll and post insults, yet the regulars there will post some of the most hate-filled trash and he never says a peep.

It truly is the most hate filled and butt hurt sports message board I've ever seen.

I'm so glad that Immyaxl was finally banned on here. The pansy mods on VM ban Vols fans at the drop of a hat, but he was getting away with some seriously hateful trolling on here.

Go look for yourselves. They talk down to us, bash us and are just basically so full of fecal matter that it burns the eyes to read. It's just my opinion, but I hope this sets their"program" back to the dark ages.

No hope needed. It's already been set back to damn near death penalty sanctions. They have basically lost an entire recruiting class, and the admin not seemingly to worried about getting a coach in place immediately.
Vandy can chalk up the last three years as their glory years, the best they ever could be. The ship has been righted.

Now they are talking about not only bringing in Mason from Stanford, but having Pep Hamilton come with him as "Co" Head Coaches!!!!!

"If i were the Goldfather, this is my best outcome scenario short of a super-Saban-like name.

It is two guys, with twice the connections to put together a first-rate staff, and a fine pedigree to recruit. Plus it is a chance to sell the program to recruits as both have put a LOT of guys in the NFL."

Yates is a prick. Always has been. He tries to act all high and mighty and he's the biggest hypocrite on there. He graduated from freakin' MTSU. No wonder he has small man syndrome.

You should have been reading when UT was regularly beating their ass. It was even worse. I've never read a more delusional board ever. At least with Bama, Fla and other successful programs, they have a reason to act the way they do. Like any fan base that has had success. Vandy hasn't done d*ck and they act like they're national title contenders.

Yep, it's nowhere near comparable. I don't know if it still applies but for years you could get banned for having a UT logo in your avatar or signature; well at least one that wasn't degrading UT (i.e. Calvin peeing on a Power T was allowed, but not a Power T alone).

It really is entertaining to go read their board. They are mega-delusional, incredibly ignorant about college football (okay, no surprise there) and their entire lives seem to revolve around their inferiority complex vis-à-vis the Vols. Funny stuff. When I need a laugh, I can always find it over there.

They even made a thread about their women's basketball team beating the Lady Vols to further prove that they "own" us.

In a way, I'm almost glad that they had 2 years of success, because it's going to make the next 30 beatdowns in a row they get from the Big Orange that much more painful.
