And that just shows how pathetic and juvenile Yates is/was. They wouldn't allow a UT logo. Good Lord. What a pathetic, obsessed moron. They all obsess over UT every day. It's borderline scary and comical all at the same time.

Hamilton is calling plays for an offense that is led by one of the best players in the NFL. Why leave for Vandy when a NFL head coaching gig is in his near future? Makes zero sense.

I really don't care who they hire. The one thing they need to realize is that with this new playoff their OOC schedule will soon cause them some serious problems.

Lets just say they would win the East and somehow win the SEC. They would be celebrating in the streets, talking mad smack, but come playoff selection time they would be laughed out of the conversation. Their OOC schedule is so weak they could be the only 12-0 team and people would still have a solid argument of why other 1-2 loss teams should be in the playoff over them, even with the SEC schedule.

Also I'm sure the conference itself would quickly make some mandatory scheduling rules once Vandy was responsible for the SEC conf champ not even being considered for the playoff.

And we get one of their recruits today. And people still "wish" jf was there, to somehow prove their manlyhood by hopefully beating him next year?
We got a player out of this deal. That by itself is enough.

Vandy never has to worry about their SOS because they will never come close to sniffing the playoffs.

I thought a Vandy education was a prestigious thing to have.
From that post it's about on par with third grade public education.

It is a special bunch over there. On one hand they are falling all over themselves how proud they are for Williams to be running such a stealthy search with absolutely NO leaks. Then on the other hand, "it has been well reported" that Mason is and has always been the number 1 guy.

They are rationalizing Feldman's tweet about Pep turning the job down is that he was just offered the OC job to come with Mason!!!!

I believe: Vanderbilt sports is emerging as one of the best run, most successful athletic programs in the country. I am ecstatic about the recent success of Vandy football. I believe that the last few years WERE stepping stones—not for any one individual, but for our program overall. We haven’t reached our ceiling with 9 win seasons and non-tropical bowl visits.

I refuse to let our momentum slip away. I am not a current football season ticket holder. I pledge to buy season tickets for 2014 (and attend the games wearing black and gold) no matter who VCDW & co. decide is the best person to head the football program from here forward. I believe. And I’ll be there in person to prove it.

Perspective: Vandy had a historic season that included beating UT, FL, and UGA. They still didn't sniff a division title.

I think they need to go back to praying for a bowl game in FL. Walk before you can run.

There's really no "Eastern Division Title" anyway. You finish first in your division and get to play for a title or you don't. You're not hanging a banner for just making the title game (though Vanderbilt probably would, I guess).

Actually, you do hang a banner for winning your division, Tennessee has a banner up for 97, 98, 01, 04 and 07 division championships. I agree that they don't mean much if you don't win the whole thing but I'm certain we aren't the only school that does that.

Vandie...don't know how to win nor how to lose (though they have lots of experience in the latter). We Nashville residents know full well the whiney, jealous commode-door nation twits that blow that farting horn before each game & echo it when they speak. So now they've hired a "Mason jar" to contain all the fruit flies. Like I told one of them recently after their big bowl win: "Enjoy it while you can."
