I don't usually agree with you, but it's more likely than people want to believe. At QB you see a lot of transferring though so I don't think it's a big deal. Jones, Dormady, Jennings would all be in their 3rd year with Kendall in his second and a freshman. 5 QBs is a lot so if 1 of the ones from this class wants out, so be it. He was probably 3rd string in this scenario.

We are basically having tryouts for the #2 and #3 spots. Don't see 2 of them leaving after one year. At least I hope they don't. Really don't want to have to sign 2 or 3 more next year.

Imo that is exactly what they will do. Kendall hopefully sticks and when the transfer announcements come, they will take another to go along with Austin.

I only think 1 walks. That assumes that Dobbs doesn't leave after next year. Will be tough to keep all three for sure.

I can easily see Jennings moving to another position, and Jones and Dormady sticking it out for two years to battle for the starting spot when they get the chance.

FTR, Swafford shouldn't count against this class because he didn't grey shirt. Grey shirts delay enrollment. He walked on in 2013 and was awarded a scholarship in spring 2014. He'll count against the 85.

I believe the rule is IF he goes on scholarship within the first two years on campus, he must count toward a class.

Honestly I'm not buying any blue shirt stuff till we see it. I'm also curious how the BS is actually counted and when. Looking at it, I can't see how a BS would not have to be on scholarship by Aug and if that is the case, they can't be rolled into next years class. GS can he rolled forward. I don't think a BS can. Unless I am missing something.

Lock down the instate skill position players.

1. Joejaun Williams
2. Rontavious Groves- Huge Jr year
3. Ikenna Okeke- very solid Jr year
4. Tylin Oden- pulled in some big time offers in the last 2 months.

#2 priority...

Go HAM in GA and UNC....

1. Nigel Warrior
2. Shug Frazier
3. Mecole Hardman
4. E.J. Price
5. Marquez Callaway- one of the top playmakers in the nation.

1. B.J. Emmons
2. Dexter Lawrence
3. Keion Joyner
4. Robert Washington
5. Landon Dickerson

Our class should be about 70% comprised of these 3 areas.

I plan on having Oden in my class, just figured I'd wait till we have a QB or 2 transfer before I add him.

Ok so Bruce and Oliver are being named as possible BS options. Does anyone know for sure when they would have to be on scholarship by?

If they're blue shirts, Id assume they'd be on scholarship no later than fall 2016, but most likely the start of Spring semester (January 2016)

Blue shirts basically go on scholarship after 1 day of classes I believe.

They pay their way through summer and then after first day of school or fall camp, they go on scholarship and therefore count like a grey shirt.

Yes.

You just have to plan a blue shirt far in advance.

Kid has to make phone calls and cant pre arrange certain stuff.

They are limited to no official visit.

Basically a preferred walk on and then they go on scholarship after 1 day. The catch is that nothing from the school binds them to this agreement, so the kid has no protecction.

How can they then count toward 2016 if they can play in 2015? That's where I'm confused with what others said about rolling BSs to 2016.

If a BS can be taken in the 2015 class as long as he is on scholarship by Aug 2015 then that makes sense. They would still count for 2015 then. I just don't see how they could count toward 2016.
