I get your point and ur probably right. But I think if he would have been kept the punishments would be more along the lines of postseason bans and recruiting. Yes it would have been bad but after the punishments ended we would have been back. Pearl proved he could win here. Last year was bad but I truly believe it had a lot to do with the NCAA mess

I'm not ranting and I'm not pulling for this team to lose or pearl to be rehired. I do believe it's time to move on and I said in my first post that I would do that. Just sharing some thoughts

Pearl won more games with Buzz Peterson's recruits than his own recruits. He was about to go down the same path as Fulmer.

Why bother associating with someone who says "Pearlophile"? On par with calling someone a "booger face". Not sure what happened but there was a point in time when you weren't a douche. What exactly happened?

90% of your posts bash the school the other 10% defend Kiffin. We get it dude... you don't really like Tennessee. It's ironic you'd refer to someone as a "pearlophile" why defending Kiffin 24/7. Hypocrite at its finest. Go cheer for USC. Carroll(cheater), Kiffin(liar), Mayo(whore), Bush(whore), OJ(murderer) etc. would fit right in with your beliefs.

That's a good point but Buzz wasn't winning with his recruits and the first year pearl came in we got a 2 seed. I'm not saying Pearl is the greatest coach ever but we did make the tourney every single year. It just felt going basically knowing we were gonna be in it every year

He took a bunch of "white boys" to the Sweet 16 when he was at UW-Milwaukee. Where do you think he recruited them from?

What if UT had decided to keep Pearl, take our punishment by the NCAA, let the assistant coaches take over for 3 years while Pearl served his "show cause" and then in the 2014 season, Pearl would be back as our coach? I used to laugh at this kind of talk , however, after attending today's game and watching maybe the worst coached game since the Jerry Green era, I have a feeling we may have been better off taking a 3 year mulligan and then compete again for NCAA tourney bids in 2014. What do you think?

Guys don't get me wrong. I am pulling for Cuonzo as much as anyone. I like the guy a lot. But he has enough talent to beat teams like this. Pearl may not have been doing any better and I may be wrong about all of it. All I can go by is what i have seen. Pearl made the tournament every year. By the looks of things right now..we aren't anywhere close. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Did you seriously expect this team to make the tournament, considering the state that Jesus Pearl left them in?

You can say "No" and "Make it stop" but based on what I witnessed today, unless Cuonzo signs Jarnell Stokes, this program is going back to the 1990's.....
