Yep, 2 good coaches and then that one guy that pretty much did the same thing that Bruce Pearl did.

I do think we would have lost post season play for 1 maybe 2 years (so what, we're not going to be there anyway) and maybe a few scholarships (again, so what, we sigend a couple of players that are probably not D-I players). I do not think Pearl's show cause would have been more than 3 years. All I am saying is, unles Cuonzo signs Stokes, we're probably looking at 3 years of bad basketball anyway. CBP was the BEST coach in UT BB history. Personally, I would have waited 3 years to have him back.

Probably has something to do with the fact that not only did he get us investigated (and would have gotten us sanctioned if we hadn't canned his sorry ass) but managed to leave the basketball team in worse shape than Fulmer left the football team.

Comparing UT's program to Oakland's is beyond ridiculous.

What's your point? To defend Martin after losing to AP?

Why shouldn't I? Every swinging dick in this place defended Dooley after sucking it up for the second straight year, I figure I can give Martin a pass for sucking for about half of his first 8 games.

Let's not play dumb here. We lost 5 of our top 6 scorers and the one that returned this year is a threat to not be able to throw it in the ocean on a lot of nights.
