The "Occupy" Rallies

The Supreme Court decision in Citizens United basically shot that in the head.

I understand that, but there has to be a way to attack this monster. Elected officials can now tell you to the penny how much money they have to raise on a daily basis to win the next election, but have no idea what's written on the bloated crap they vote upon. Eff em, find a way to get them out of the money raising / vote buying cycle.

I'm all ears. Doesn't seem like there is any reasonable solution to that problem.

Obama wants to say he is on the protesters sides but the protesters want to distance themselves.

And I meant financial lobbying restrictions and am against corporate personhood - shouldn't give the man at the top two voices, one which is much larger than the rest.

You guys can ignore this all you want. It's not going to end anytime soon, especially with the crack downs and censoring in Boston, SanFran, and other places. The abuse from the law enforcement agencies is only going to provide more fuel for the fire.

Except when it gets cold as sh!t in New York in about a month. That should disperse them pretty quickly.

I'm glad they are defecating on police cars because that should really get the New yorkers behind them 100%.

I wonder if they realize big bad corporations made all of those sleeping bags they are sleeping in. Idiots.

Pure gold:

Protester Angelina Lesniewski graduated from a Massachusetts liberal arts college in May with an English degree. She has no job prospects in her field, and $28,000 in student debt.

"I could have gotten a degree in something practical like psychology, which I find very interesting but I would have been miserable," she said.

You could go several different directions with this quote.

The OWS plea for pity is going to take them nowhere.

"I could have gotten a degree in something practical like psychology, which I find very interesting but I would have been miserable," she said.

She still had no hope. psyche isn't a practical major, either.

Practical would have been majoring in something useful that would provide job opportunities. Practical would have been not taking on debt or working through college. Or just going to a cheaper one.

Looks like we don't have to wait until winter to clear the hobos out.

Bloomberg Appears at Zuccotti Park to Announce Cleaning | NBC New York

In a letter to Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, Brookfield CEO Richard B. Clark said the company has received "hundreds of phone calls and emails" from residents and workers in the area complaining about "lewdness, groping, drinking and drug use, the lack of safe access to and usage of the Park, ongoing noise at all hours, unsanitary conditions and offensive odors."

Lol. Shocking.

Funny how the smelly hipsters don't think about how they are affecting the local community. How is smelling up the park with refuse going to convince local New Yorkers that you have a legitimate protest?

These people are so full of crap - and themselves - that it's not even funny. They are "protesting", yet they aren't actually oppressed in any way and aren't actually denouncing anything other than life being hard.

I'm not posting this because of the Obama slant, I just genuinely wonder who or what is truly behind these rallies. Obviously somebody somewhere is coordinating this to some degree or at least had the idea to churn this up.

To all of the Beck Haters, he has been talking about this for 1-2 years now. George Soros is a good place to start and money funneled through the Tides Foundation to dozens of organizations. Read Saul Alinksky's "Rules for Radicals" & "
The Coming Insurrection", Obama and the Clintons, Van Jones, are a few that are very versed in them. I know that many of you are gonna dismiss this and Beck, and will not open your eyes but if you wanted to, with little digging, you could find out what is really going on in this Administration and the country is a well orchestrated attack on all things that has made America great and many are trying to "fundamentally transform" it to something very different.

Corporation that owns Zuccotti "Protester" Park Wins $168 Million Loan Guarantee from Obama DOE!

That’s pretty nice of a big evil corporation to let protesters sleep, smoke weed and go number one and two on its nice private park in downtown Manhattan. Especially since the protesters are protesting big evil corporations. (But then again, President Obama expressed solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street protesters, Nancy Pelosi said “God Bless Them,” and Bill Ayers is writing their collective Occupy Wall Street demands. So someone loves them.)

Hmm. Wonder what that’s about.

Maybe Mayor Bloomberg has some inside track on what’s going on here? After all, Bloomberg’s longtime shack-up girlfriend, Diana L. Taylor, is on the Board of Directors of Brookfield Properties, the company that owns Zuccotti Park. (She’s also served as the CFO of the Long Island Power Authority.)
----------------------

John Zuccotti was also a long-term member of the Board of Directors of WellPoint Health Network (also known as Blue Cross of California, Blue Cross of Georgia, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York, Blue Cross Blue Shield in Missouri and Wisconsin, HealthLink, and UNICARE.).
----------------------------

President Obama used WellPoint as an example of the evils that would be exorcized by Obamacare. In fact, some argue that WellPoint, along with other large health insurers, willingly colluded with the Obama administration in order to save Obamacare from an otherwise certain political death.

Lots of links to more information in the original link.

So the usful idiots of OWS think they are protesting lobbying??? They can think again but it would be hard to prove they have put any thought into what they are doing to begin with.
