The only bank with its HQ down there anymore is Deutsche Bank. The people they really hate are at least 45 block north or in CT. Apparently, the stupid hippies have been successfully decoyed.

The problem is that most of the protestors have no idea what they're protesting, and (as said all over this thread) most are rich college students out to get some pub before they head back to class.

When I look at the photos of the protestors it just looks like a bunch of greasy smelly hipsters that just want something to do. I bet half of these peeps wouldn't have a job in a GOOD economy.

I remember that because inwas constantly reminded by the MSM. This endorsement by BOTH the Nazis and the Communist Party is ignored by the very same media. Explain that.

One man's support (David Duke) equals the Klan supports the TP. Two organizations (the Nazis and Communists) issue official statements in support if the Occupiers and the media treats it as much ado about nothing. Curious.

Because, just like the KKK's support of the Tea Party, the Nazi and Communist party support is pointless. I don't watch TV so I can't really comment on the MSM beating the KKK thing to death.

I do think these idiots have one thing right. The distinction between capital gains income and ordinary income is idiotic. It's the main reason that guys like Buffett disingenuously argue for increased taxes in the higher brackets. They are arguing against actual earners and for the wealthy to have the break. Only the seriously rich make enough cap gains income to really fight here. I'm typically for making investment more attractive, but at some point, the extreme wealthy, who have no ordinary income are being ignored. These vagrants standing in the streets need to centralize their message and focus on issues like this. The guys earning a living on WS aren't their issue as they pay at the highest rates.

I'm on the fence about that with an economy that needs investment. However, you are right that this would be a much more appropriate and less extremist position for the OWS crowd.
