The Office: Season 7 Thread

agreed about the last part. the michael-erin relationship is way more fatherly than it is romantic IMO. i can't see them getting together, and if they did, i'd be pretty dissapointed.

It doesn't fit the general tone of the show for something to come out of left field like that, imo

I don't know about him ending up with Erin, but I'm reading that Holly's last episode is the next one (march 24). So her leaving Michael could be a possibility.

I would have liked to see Toby and Michael get into it one more time and Toby finally having enough and somehow going behind Michael's back and getting him fired or blackmailing him and forcing him to quit.

I'm reading the script, and I already see a couple of problems. One, Stanley says it's Martin Luther King Day, on the show it's already been V-Day so it doesn't match up chronologically.

Two it says Jim and Dwight are the same age. I thought it was established Dwight is older.

One thing I really appreciate is them alluding to past seasons. I absolutely loved that they finished the Michael Scarn movie. Little nuances like that really please me

Because of that post I started watching the 1st season again. Michael's hair still pisses me off.

There's no way that script is real; that is way too stupid; although I do agree the opening is great. The rest of the script is straight up crap.

Steve Carell has 4 episodes left. The next new episode is March 24 and in it apparently Michael asks Holly to marry him. We know this is her last episode so it at least looks like she turns him down but maybe not. After that there is another episode then his last 2 episodes are Goodbye, Michael Part 1 and Part 2.

Personally, I'm still going with he stays with Holly and asks for a transfer to her branch. That way he is still with Dunder Mifflin and allows him to make cameos next season and for the eventual series finale.

At this point, I'd be annoyed if Holly turns him down. Her character was awful, at least let her have some purpose.

I still wonder how that branch exists. I thought they only kept the Scranton branch for the name and production. And as for going back to Nashua, no way that happens. They wouldn't have that love triangle

Remember in the season 6 finale at the very end of the show Michael says, "There is one thing you could do. Transfer Holly from back from the Nashua branch." And Joe said, "I'll see what I can do."

I totally remember it. It's just one of those things that, for a show that strives to keep all loose ends tied up, didn't fit the original storyline

I'm gonna go back and watch the merger episodes and see what was said just to see if we might have missed something.
