The Office: Season 7 Thread

Jim and Michael's conversation almost started the waterworks for me. And I liked that Pam got to say goodbye.

I have to say it looks like Ferrell's last episode might actually be pretty good. It looks like they set him lose without SC there next week.

Overall though I just don't see how this show is going to make it more than one more season without Michael Scott. I think this is going to be much like the last season of That 70s Show.

No way it will be that bad. Mainly because they won't be adding this guy.

Loved when Creed came out off the ladies stall and drinking out of the World's Best Boss mug at the end.

I noticed both. I just love how they always keep prior minute details recurring, like Creed paying to use the women's restroom

I told my wife that i thought Jim Carey would be good for that show (when i read that michael was leaving) and i was suprised that he is going to be interviewed. I don't think he would do a sitcom, but it would be interesting. I really don't want ray romano doing it either.

would you guys have any problems if Rickey Jervais became the new boss? i know he was the boss in the bbc version, but i think he work well with the other cast.

Carrey, Gervais, and Romano are just guest starring in the season finale, none of them will be the permanent replacement.

so we're looking at next year as the last season. it would make sense, having a bunch of stars make cameos and then end on a high note.

Also, on the preview where they showed all the guest stars, they singled out Andy, Dwight, and Darryl before.

Thats true.

If it does come out of those three, I think Andy would be the best choice. Followed by Darryl and then Dwight last.

I'm not sure how it would work with Darryl though, because he is respected by the rest of the characters. I'm not sure the show would work with a respected boss.

My new opinion on the "new boss":

Andy Bernard gets promoted.

The reason is he ends up keeping Michael's clients. (10 most important clients to the company that he handed him in the past episode)

After keeping the most important clients Joe decides he deserves the promotion.

This will also cause confrontation between Gabe and Andy even more.
