The Office: Season 7 Thread

I liked the episode but the guest stars were disappointing in that were basically cameos. Arnett, Carrey, and Gervais' spots were barely biggger than the previews.

I couldn't see the show lasting with Dwight

I don't see it lasting longer than one more season anyway. Even with Michael Scott, the show has been going downhill since season four. I figured they wouldn't announce the new manager tonight. Not sure I'm going to come back next year. Disappointing, because my wife and I used to love The Office.

i think the show can possibly last if they pick someone good for the role. i think the last couple of episodes have been solid even without michael.

I thought James Spader killed it last night. He would be my choice if they bring an outsider in. He reminded me of Michael Scott how he would glance at the camera. He already dislikes Dwight so that would be an interesting storyline too.

I thought it was a very funny episode. spader did really good. I wish Ricky Gerveas could have been interviewed in person for the job. Spader was great. Creed trying to steal clients to start a new company was really good.

it was a very solid episode.

Carrey was a waste of time. infact, most of them were a waist of time. i was disapointed in gervais.

The fact that Andy's only real proponent was Erin should tell you how smart of a hire would be.

He was the only person that didn't look like an idiot in his interview. The only one. Even when Gabe was trying to screw him, he managed to get by.

Some people rolled their eyes when Darryl's girl ran into the office. I'm hoping it's Andy

That doesn't make him at all qualified to run the branch. Now that Darryl looked so uncomfortable, I think the only one in the office that would make a good manager would be Jim.

When I watched it last night I was disappointed. I watched it again today and I liked it more. Of the newbies, Spader is the guy. If they decide to keep it in house, I gotta think it is Andy Bernard.

Glad Gabe is gone. Also, while Jim would seem to be a good choice, I noticed that he always seems to make the whole office mad when he is in charge of something.

I am really hoping it is Andy or Darryl. I read a rumor today that if the producers top choice is Catherine Tate. I thought she was awful.

Also, you can go vote on NBC's website for who should be the new boss. Right now, Andy is leading. Spader is 2nd. I forgot who is in 3rd. Darryl is 4th. Catherine Tate is 5th.
