The Office: Season 7 Thread

I hate... so much, about the things that you choose to be.

best quote of the series, imo.

This season has been pretty solid, they could have went a different direction than Holly though.

There is a 4 episode arc with will ferrell coming up soon, not sure how they are going to make that fit.

I thought they said he's in the final 4 episodes as Michael's temporary replacement.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just read the article again, he's in Carell's final 3 episodes and then in the episode after Carell leaves.

they've been good this season. it will be interesting to see how michael leaves.

would you guys want to see Ricky Gervias (sp) replace Michael?

Does anyone else think it's going to be Michael transferring to Nashua to be with Holly? The character Will Ferrell is playing is supposed to be another branch manager, so I'm wondering if maybe it's they are switching branch managers between Nashua and Scranton, and then Will Ferrell's character decides he doesn't want to be in Scranton so that will explain his quick exit. That way Michael the character is still with Dunder Mifflin so that he can be referenced and Carrel can make appearances and be back for the eventual series finale.

I would, but that seems like a situation that's too good to be true.

I posted earlier I thought maybe Gervais' cameo might clue us in that it could happen, but if it is then the writers are publicly throwing a swerve.

One the head writers said that next season the permanent replacement would be either Andy, Dwight, Darryl, or someone new, but also said whoever it is wouldn't be the focus of the show like Michael Scott is now. So if that's true, I can't see it being Ricky Gervais becaues there's no way it would be David Brent and he not be the focus of the show.

They've already said the focus won't be on the new boss you hole

The show does well with everyone getting a few minutes per episode. Holly sucks, im assuming she'll be gone, way too much screen time for a lousy character.

Andy better not become the boss.

No way does Andy get the job. Just 2 episodes ago they established that he was horrible at his job, thus needing to host the seminar. Only possible way I could see it happening is if he ends up getting rewarded for being the main whistleblower
