Well yeah, the writers set it up that way. They still turned an idiot into a competent individual in a matter of episodes, and then lined up a bunch of idiots for his competition to make it believable.Andy had the best interview and he was even being sabotaged. That's gotta count for something.

As far as today's episode, I think it got better as it went on.
1. Love the name.
2. No. Ed Helms is the biggest cast member and it's not even close. The other problem is that Jim is too normal to get the job. The only way the show can sustain itself is if there's a legitimate questioning of the boss' credentials.
You're the first to notice/say anything. Good shot.
I guess Helms has landed bigger roles... I just think Krasinski is the superior actor.
Am I the only one who thought Galifianakis was going to get the role out of nowhere?
Finally got to see the second episode; big improvement over the first one. The opening with Kevin was great. It reminded me of the talk Michael had with Andy about "baby talk".
The 2 other best parts of the show:
1) When California walks in and Andy says "Hey Dad!"
2) When Kevin says "This is where we go" and California replied "You go somewhere else".
I'm still not happy with the lack of Creed.
