The Office: Season 8

Rewatch this, I have a question.

After he roasts Andy, who says the 2nd "boom, roasted" (right after Michael)?

Sounds like a producer or someone on set. Doesn't sound like a cast member.

I thought the planking in the 1st part was pretty funny. i loved how dwight was cleaning it all up. it was a decent episode, spader wasn't bad, i would like him and dwight to get into it more. there could be some really good banter between them.

My favorite moments from the 1st episode were Dwight with the extinguisher and Kevin's, "WARNING WARNING WARNING"

1. He was the worst (or second worst) person at his job.
2. He never seemed to have the respect of anyone that worked there.
3. He was the freaking whistleblower.
4. He has been sent to anger management for outbursts at the office.
5. He often irritates the hell out of anyone he is around.

He may get a laugh every now and then, but this hire isn't remotely believable.

the show doesn't even try to be realistic. i bet you believed michael scott as a 6-7 year head of the company, who's guilty of 3 on your goofy list.

Michael was supposed to be a great salesman. At least he was good at something.

Also, his character dropped off a lot towards the end. The show was much better when he was an awkward manager who wanted everyone to like him than later on when he was the kind of idiot who drove a car into a lake.

The show was far, far more believable early on, and it was a lot better.

Andy had the best interview and he was even being sabotaged. That's gotta count for something.

I agree. Nothing beat seasons 1 thru 4. I think after 4 the show started to drop off gradually as the seasons progressed.

Stress Relief notwithstanding. That's my favorite episode.

Sh**. I forgot that was S5. That's also my favorite episode. S5 was actually pretty good, so after 5 it went down hill. Basically, when Jim and Pam got married. IMO.

I was fairly neutral on that, however when Dwight dropped Kevin from laughing because Stanley said it, I found that hilarious

That's where I found it so funny, and the fact that it was gloomy and no-sense-of-humor Stanley that was saying it. I will say though it wasn't funny later in the episode when he said it and would be downright annoying if said again.

No way in hell Andy stays regional manager. I think he's gonna get demoted or he'll offer to step down and Jim will finally decide to take over. This is way too awkward and he's way too terrible of a boss.

Screw the whole idea that Ed Helms has got to be the RM bc he's the biggest name. This is just way too out of place.

Whether he's the best boss or the worst boss, he just found an incentive that is going to rapidly improve productivity of an already exceptional branch.
