At least Guarantano is looking good. But as Pruitt said after GA State, 10 guys can be doing their job and one guy making a mistake creates problems.

JJ doesn’t drop that TD catch that hits him in the hands and JG doesn’t miss that super easy throw, it’s 14-7 Vols. Can’t blame this one on the coaches so far

This team is awful. They aren't winners. Plain and simple. I hate to say it, and I hate that it's true, even more. This is an enormous rebuild and I don't know if our gym coach and his gold whistle are the answer. Tennessee football, as I knew it as a young man, is dead.

The in-game thread in the Football Forum is going to have 2,500 comments by halftime.

Our fans don't deserve this. Maybe we'll be good in 2 years... but damn. Just damn. This has been as frustrating as basketball while Dickey neglected it.

We're looking at the most losses in history in 3 years. I think it was 21 losses just a few years ago.

There are some promising young players. TN is young, but we've been hearing that for a long time. I guess when there are 5 coaches in 10 years that's what happens.

Your second sentence says it all. I recognize the young talent, and despite this staff's ability to develop players at other stops, I just have arrived at the idea that Tennessee football is a cursed program. Coach's careers, regardless of past success, are derailed here. Player's growth is stunted here. The only common denominator is Tennessee. It's just so sad.

6, 7, or 8 losses in 10 of the last 12 years. But the UTAD is fat and happy selling 65,000 season tickets. Most of those after extorting fans for donations. Dozens of administrators and coaches making 6 and 7 figure salaries.
