Team A could be winning by a field goal and then get a pick six (or fumble return for a TD) and then go for two to really rub it in. That’s all I can think of

There wouldn't be an extra point attempt.

Team A has an 8 point lead, on defense they have a takeaway and race to the other end, they stop just before the goal line and make a drop kick. Probably an illegal kick, but could team B decline a penalty and the 3 points go onto the scoreboard?

Any refs reading this?

The takeaway ends the game

Another scenario to win by 4 points in overtime:

Team A goes ahead by 8 points.

Team B scores a TD.

On the 2 point extra point attempt by team B, team A intercepts and runs it back for a score and wins by 4 points.

That was creative

I think that nearly 100% of overtime games are won by 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, or 8 points. When team A can score a TD on defense then they can win by 9, 12, 13, or 14. When team A can score with a safety then they can win by 5 or 10. That leaves margins of 4 and 11. 4 could happen when team A has a 2 point lead and runs back a turnover on a 2 point failed conversion by team B or by taking a safety after getting a turnover while having a 6 point lead. That only leaves the elusive 11 point margin of victory in an overtime game.

I was thinking about this when I saw UCLA 67 WSU 63. Thought that it was pretty rare to win by 4 in the 60s if not in multiple OTs. Then I wondered how to win by 4 in OT. Next thing you know I'm figuring out possible victory margins in OT.

I took a lot of math in graduate school. Might have resulted in some sort of brain damage.

I’ve really become a huge hockey fan over the last several years. Just do what I do, I’m the biggest NHL bandwagon fan you’ll find. The only team I really don’t like is the Capitals. Other than that, I’m a fan of pretty much whoever is good that particular season. It’s fun and you always feel like a winner! Guess I’m compensating for Tennessee football.
GBO!!

Need to cheer for the Preds!

There's a poster named Big Z or something. Didn't post enough to tell if Big Ziti, Indy, and Big Z are the same poster or not.
As much as I’d love to rile everyone up and reveal that me and Big Ziti were actually the same person, I could never do that to a legend like Zeet.

Last year when we were #1 there was another poster who claimed to know Zeet in real life, wish I remember who that was. Would love for Ziti to make a return.

I want to get his thoughts on Pruitt. He chest thumped a bit after saying we needed to hire Pruitt when no one else was talking about him.
