Randy Brady is a kid whose stock has fallen off of a cliff. Not sure how hard we are pushing there. He transferred out of Nashville to McEachern in Atlanta where Dyland Cardwell (the 2020 big man we are still pursuing) also transferred to.

Lander is a kid Tennessee would love to land, obviously, but he seems most likely to end up in the midwest somewhere. I expect one of either him or Zion Harmon to end up at Louisville.

Haven't heard much on Patterson other than we have offered.

Landers was mentioned by Evan Daniels as someone who is strongly considering reclassifying.

If that be the case, you can count us out.

Speaking of which, though, I should mention that Brandon Huntley-Hatfield is a 2022 kid who is considering a reclass to 2021, so he is a kid to keep an eye on, and one that would fit a need for us in the post (6-9, 220). He is originally from Clarksville, TN, but now plays at IMG with Springer, and is a top 10 player in 2022.

Kentucky will be tough to beat as he is Alex Poythress' cousin, I believe.

Also should add that he plays for BMaze Elite, so that should work in our favor, but UK will still be hard to beat.

Half way through 2019-2020 and couple games into SEC play... who is still worried about JJJ being a one and done?

Nope.

Think he is going to be VERY GOOD with some development and surrounded by the class coming in.

But not worried anymore about one and done.

No one really should have ever been worried about it, as it was never very likely to happen in the first place. He doesn't have the kind of game that is going to translate to the 1-and-done model. A lot of kids will get bad advice from hangers on that will convince them they are better than what they really are, but JJJ seems to have a much wiser group of people looking out for him, so I don't believe that will be an issue for him. He would have to really turn things up over the last half of the season to get fully on the NBA radar in the 1st round.

Big game tomorrow night. Could be a springboard to a good season. Every game now is a must win. Right now 8-8 in SEC play would be a good year, but I am hoping for continuing improved play. We need young guys to keep getting better.

There are 18 conference games.

9-9 gives you 17 wins. most likely NIT without other mid-packers self destructing.
