Yeah but let's be honest, that second half collapse was pretty woof too. It's not the end of the season or any of the ledge jumper stuff.....but that was some bad basketball for the final 8:00 or so. Like almost had to try to be that bad basketball. It would be one thing if Ole Miss was just on, but they hardly played some great ball either.

I posted this in another thread, but this how bad the offense was in the 2nd half...

Just to put last night's level of offensive ineptitude into perspective...
•We had an 11-point lead with 14 minutes to play in a game that featured a point total of 102.
•We made two shots from the field in the final 15 minutes. Two shots!!!
•We only hits three 2-pt shots in the entire 2nd half.
•We scored 0 points in transition.

I posted this in another thread, but this how bad the offense was in the 2nd half...

Good stuff. To add to that, we scored 27 points the final 30 minutes of the game.

That was maddening to me. I texted friends asking "How many times are we going to let that happen"? It was like watching a rerun over and over. That part I blame on Barnes and the coaches, they had no adjustment or if they did the team wasn't getting it.

The other maddening thing is when they weren't doing that we were simply just giving the ball to OM. How many 1 on 1 steals happened? Seems like about 50. Some of them our guy might as well just have handed the ball to the Ole Miss defender and said "Here you go." Yeah OM was getting away with being physical but that wasn't the cause of most of that; it was just really sloppy ball handling.

I know at least one time (can't remember if it was more) that they moved someone to the middle of the half court 1-3-1 to try to give another outlet to the PG. At least once, I thought they shoot try to go over the top to the baseline. The weakness of a 1-3-1 is the baseline, but it is obviously harder when it's extended to midcourt.

Anybody have the plus/minus from last nights game? Heard Barnes mention Yves and Vescovi being positive in his presser, was wondering how everyone else faired.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Fulky was near the bottom tbh, he was getting abused on Defense

Essentially they all had a visit to come here together, the 3 had a group chat going and really liked the idea but wanted to see how they clicked in person. Visits were cancelled and so they each pretty much did their own thing.
