Nothing at all wrong with Those tweets but when there are only 2 baseball tweets on the men’s side we have a problem

Again way more women’s sports in season than men’s. Our men’s sports get a ton of attention. Our women’s programs don’t. I’m not surprised nor is there anything wrong with our women’s chancellor pointing out success of our women’s teams, even more than the men.

But again that wasn’t your original complaint, which was you think it’s some sort of dumb PR blunder that she didn’t tweet about Fulky to begin with. So we went from that Donde is dumb which you posted in another thread (your words) to Donde is now apparently sexist against our men’s programs and also when she posted she was at the men’s game with a selfie it was only in her own self interest

she missed a great opportunity to highlight one of the few high profile good things about our AD right in Fulky and it’s clear to me why now.

Men’s Baseball golf and basketball are all
Having successful seasons and she has found the time to tweet about one of them all the while highlighting the women’s side plenty. That’s telling

Lack of awareness isn’t a good thing by leaders.

DW already has shown this job is bigger than he was expecting. Perhaps he will grow and Plowman will understand equality is a good thing

Danny White didn’t tweet it. Tom Satkowiak didn’t tweet it. Tennessee Athletics official account didn’t tweet it. Randy Boyd didn’t tweet it. It’s a touching moment. It’s cool. It doesn’t move the needle in any way, shape or form.

Trying to insinuate that Donde didn’t tweet about Fulk because she is in some way sexist against the men’s team is by far the most ignorant take I’ve seen on the sports forums.

I'll say I think Bruin has a solid overarching point in that it could be a missed opportunity. If we're strictly talking in absolutes, then yes it definitely was a missed opportunity at that time.

That being said, we can probably all agree that our sports media program is pretty effing good. That footage can definitely be used for years to come. Zjc made a point in that it's not uncommon to see that kind of reaction.

I'll meet both of you in the middle.

1. Bruin, you're overreacting, but I agree it was missed opportunity.

2. Zeej, you're right in that it's not earth shattering, but how often do we see something that raw and genuine and expressive here at UT? Especially considering his ups and downs and genuine love for UT. You gotta admit it's pretty moving footage for anyone vested in UT sports.

I won't agree with you on that point, but she should have tweeted something about it. But honestly, you really have to put the situation under a microscope to even come to that conclusion.

I’m starting to put two and two together here. It was a strong rumor that she was limiting the DC candidate pool. I am starting to think those rumors were true
