Like to have had his 20 minutes a game this season.

Unless there's an NCAA scandal or Barnes has ill health, no way I see him being replaced in the next 3 or 4 seasons. We'd have to hit Wade Houston 5 win level for it to happen. There will be a hot shot mid major around at that time we can hopefully get. I like that route better than retread.

If we get rid of Barnes for an NCAA scandal and Will Wade is still coaching LSU i mean this with 100% sincerity, I will run amok.

I’m kind of glad to see the book closed on anything linked to 2020. Unfortunately football has already been COVIDed in 2021.

I’m looking forward to the drive-bye posters to keep on driving along.

Might take a few days and come back when these drive-by’s are gone...quite the ignorant bunch hanging around this forum currently.

People want to list head coaches and say they’d take them in a heartbeat yet they’ve never won a NCAAT game in their career, where is the logic there?

This fan base is laughable sometimes.

Not going to lie I was sad watching Burns last night. He ruined his shot at reaching his ceiling when he left here. Wish he had accepted the hard coaching and made his body into what it should be instead of what it is today. His success at Winthrop isn’t anywhere close to where his ceiling should have been. Shame on him

Thought the same thing. It was sad when then announcers used the line about having to learn that gravy was not considered a beverage. He could be doing so much more with his future. And selfishly how big of an impact could he have had for UT this season.

Said a few weeks ago I wonder what the team looks like with Burns and Walker on the roster.

If a player can’t meet the standards that the coach sets, whatever it is, then it’s on them. Too bad. But have to hope those things come out in the recruiting process and we aren’t also left to suffer the loss

Shame on who? the players for being who they are or Barnes who is so rigid in his approach that he cant bend a little to adapt.
A lot of these old school coaches are learning that today's youth is different, spoiled and coddled maybe, but require a little more leniency or understanding to manage.

walker was confirmed drug issues

Burns were rumors but more so shame on him for not dedicating himself fully to get his body in shape to reach his potential.

Let's see a link for those drug issues. Total made up BS. Burns was a fat body(no offense intended) that was most likely told the same thing that Barnes told Schofield. Get in shape or hit the road. Burns chose cheeseburgers over salad. Your knew a guy that knew a guy that said it was drugs are typical human spew that need to be shoved where the sun dont hit ya.

VQ has mentioned it multiple times and said they’ve got nobody to blame but themselves, it didn’t go public because Barnes didn’t feel a need to publicize it and saved the kids some embarrassment...but that doesn’t fit your narrative of Barnes being an ******* I don’t guess.
