The Official “Regular Posters of the Basketball Forum” Thread

Now, lets look at why that happens. Maybe because those coaches recruit shooters and run a shooter friendly offensive system with good spacing that allows his shooters good shots.
Or I present you a HC who runs an offense with crap spacing, thinks mid range shots are a good thing, and still thinks games are won in the 60's.
Hmmmm maybe its not LUCK as most say but its philosophical differences, planning and potential.
Did you watch the game today? Oregon state only took 13 threes and took a bunch of tough 2 point jump shots. Loyola took a bunch of open 3s and missed.

Sometimes it is luck in the tournament.

Shooters getting hot is a strange argument? They dont shot whatever their average is, some games theyre under some games theyre over. Recruit a few and hope to ride them on a streak in the tournament.

Yes, you’ve been all over the place. Let good shooters get hot, but then saying Oregon State isn’t really good.

Must be easy to ride your shooters. Baylor is the top three point shooting team this year, shot 15% today, and still won.

Everything circles back to Barnes Bashing with you. EVERYTHING.
What does a coach not control in the program?

And again, the whole argument you are currently made about was made because of a Shaka comment. Which was a shot at myself, and so yes it circles back to Barnes and style of play which I have explained.

Sure sometimes it is. But coaches have to put their teams in position to get the bounces.

Why cant both be true? I said let shooters get hot, if theyve made it to D1 college Id like to think theyre decent enough to shoot their team through a few games.

Sure and Nova shot 17 so its not like its two teams that overly rely on the 3. Show me what they do against a team that goes 10/30 against their 15%.

EVERYTHING. It’s a chronic whine about Barnes. Even 85 has slowed his roll on the $5 million salary.

Lol....Oregon St. isn't really good but they're built to be great in the tournament as long as they get hot. So is that what we need to aim for...not really good but build for possibly getting hot in the NCAAT? And when we don't get hot that's Barnes' fault but then it will be his fault we didn't go great in the regular season even though apparently being great in the regular season isn't now something to shoot for.

Yep...Lol...a team is great when they get hot. Novel concept.

Even in the thread that exists for discussing non-TN basketball topics. Your chronic whine and trolling shtick is stale.
I believe this forum header says TN basketball does it not?
And again I remind you, you would have 0 problem with it if I was singing Barnes praises. Again, I was following the conversation.

I’m not aware of any poster that is chronically singing Barnes praises. Most of the critics make a comment or a few and move on. There are a handful of Basher Trolls that chronically circle back around and work in a shot every time they can work it into their drivel. You are at the top of the troll list. I read most of the comments without paying much attention to which poster said them. When I see a post bashing Barnes, I look up and most of the time the poster is you. When $5 million is bitched about it is usually 85.

OK? Theres a perfectly good solution to that, that this awesome site creator made if you dont like what I have to say too. And if you actually had a problem with it, then call out the posters who bring up Shaka, call out the posters who throw shade. You dont get to have your cake and eat it too.
