I know it's a very unpopular opinion, but I've given up on Fulk as a substantial contributor. I think his ceiling was his junior year, and his history with injuries gives me absolutely nothing to work with in hoping his last season will be a good one. I hope I'm dead wrong, but BHH, Aidoo, Nkamhoua just may relegate Fulk to puny MPG if my pessimistic suspicion is correct.
I hope he is. I'm very surprised about this forum's reaction to the injury news given his history with injuries. I'm full tilt interpreting it as the kiss of death. Again, I hope I'm dead wrong. Kid is so much fun to watch when he plays well.I disagree.
With the help of BHH and potentially Aidoo, he doesn’t have to be the main guy to go too in the post which takes a lot of pressure off him.
He may not be as good as he was his junior year but I expect him to be a solid contributor.

That's a good point imo. I see that being much more realistic than Fulk playing at his junior season level, assuming this wrist injury doesn't physically annihilate him for months and months, as seems to happen.I think that a Fulk coming off of the bench is a better idea than running the post offense through him as a starter. He could be the perfect 6th man. He’ll bring experience and a burst of energy off of the bench and won’t be getting into early foul trouble and face an opposing game plan to throw away early fouls beating the crap out of him. He might could even come in after opposing post players already have a foul or two and put THEM in foul trouble.
He should be a bench player regardless IMO. He’s at his best coming off the bench and bring energy/hustle.I know it's a very unpopular opinion, but I've given up on Fulk as a substantial contributor. I think that he will be most effective coming off of the bench at a point in games when it won’t be predictable to opposing coaches. Plus he could be a situational starter when it creates a matchup problem. I kind of like the idea of having him in the tool box as needed rather than playing a predictable 30 minutes. I don’t like the idea of pulling a 6th year senior during a game for an inexperienced player… that could be disruptive to the chemistry.
I don't think he's coming back to come off the bench. Just my opinion, might not be worth much, but I see him starting at the four or the five until someone takes his job away from him.
I don’t think that he was promised a starting role if he came back and tearing up his left wrist puts that starting job in jeopardy. He is going to miss valuable practice time with his teammates and the roster has been turned over.
