Just now watching UF and Bama. The UF QB is facing heavy rush, and quickly spins out, and makes an easy throw. I just don't see Bailey avoiding a sack in that situation. We will just always be holding our breath about whether we can avoid a 3 and out, with Bailey.
I'm not saying he is terrible, but I just don't see him as The Future. I am also not under illusions that the other QB's are perfect either. Unless Milton can connect on some long balls, I think we have to take the good and bad that is Hooker.
Having said that, I think going to go with Milton in the next game.
Call it however you want, idc…and I’m not all in on either QB, both are missing wide open receivers, that’s all I was saying. You know, you are the one that always says I'm too optimistic towards the basketball team. I was the same way with the football team until 20 years of sh!t happened. Sorry I can't do it anymore, I will call it, how I see it
Maybe, but not every pass like Milton and Hooker doesn't look scared when he runs. Like who you want at QB, but imo, Milton sucks. All I know, is Harbaugh agrees with me and I guess you don't
This is accurate for sure.It doesn’t matter if Hooker or Milton is the better runner. Either will make defenses respect their ability. If your QB is going to be the biggest running threat you’re going to have problems.
Hooker looks like a turnover machine and Milton looks like he runs the fast offense while making fewer mistakes. Milton is missing open receivers in games but he must be doing much better Sunday through Friday.
Even in high school Milton was a sub 50% passer. Hooker has always been 60+. Even with the TOs Hooker is more productive. You can fix Ball Security. Not sure you can fix Milton's passing game.It doesn’t matter if Hooker or Milton is the better runner. Either will make defenses respect their ability. I'd take 5 TDs and 3 TOs any day against 1 TD and nothing else to show.
They both played the same competition. Hooker put up 21 against Pitt. Milton 10.I’ll go with the coach’s decision. I doubt that Heupel is stubborn same as Pruitt was with JG. Hooker was on campus much longer than Milton and couldn’t beat him out as the starter.
We don’t know how much the offense has been simplified for Hooker. Pitt and TT prepared for Milton, not Hooker.
Hooker’s stats versus weak competition has been exaggerated with YAC.
At least Hooker has already gotten his feet wet if he ends up getting lots of PT at Florida. But I expect that Milton gets the start unless his injury is worse than is being suggested.
